While I like the content of the post, I have a standing rule never to like a post that involves Stephen A Smith.

He’s 1/3 of the team’s salary and hasn’t brought in the big dogs as a FA lure. That’s his job.

He should shut it down after this last loss.

He cares too much about career stats to sit out since he is chasing all time records

So then Kob didn't do his job, right?

The leash is short on dude...I get it. He's gotta do something in a Laker uni to earn a pass, but hellbent Paula ghosted him/us before he committed here. What are you left with?

Boogie? Special circumstance due to injury.

Cp3? Bird rights got him that bag on probably his last substantial deal in Htown. He couldn't get that here.

KD? Early bird and a chance to 3peat...but still this one is probably on Bron if it was a possibility.

He better get in that bag for sure this summer cause there are realistic options to be had. It seems like AD's already locked up though...but I agree, Bron's gotta get to work.

Sorry Vash but Lebron is part of the reason we are losing. I can’t speak about last nights game because I turned it off after
awhile but he has definitely contributed to us losing other games. He turns the ball over way too much, he lets his man score, while yelling at his teammates because they didn’t cover his laziness. He complains to the refs 2 to 4 times a game or more and doesn’t even bother crossing midcourt while the other team scores 5 on 4. Missed free throws and layups is an every game thing...the list goes on and on. Can he score, of course he can. He’s still a great player when he tries. The trouble is he’s trying less and less. Averaging a triple double while giving up almost as much on the other side of the court doesn’t make for wins.

I don’t expect for Lebron to go all out on both side of the ball for 48 minutes but I do expect him to be playing better right now, since he’s “activated”. The guys missed 18 games. That was his rest period. We brought him in to win chips. Now we are not even going to make the playoffs. That’s pathetic. He’s far from our biggest problem but he is a problem never the less.

Cook, all year Bron's been part of the problem for our defense...no doubt. The way you lead is the way they'll follow. But for the earlier portion of the season we were a top 7 defensive team and as a result the standings reflected that. Then the injuries...

But since coming back from injury, there's not many players that are defensive beasts that have the majority of the offense on their shoulders and playing the minutes he is. Defensively he's been better than KD, Klay, Russ and Beal during this current stretch after his return.

Since coming back from injury, he's been better than any Laker defensively with the minutes he's getting. Again, that's not saying much cause our defense is trash, but he's really not one of the major problems during this particular stretch.

Kobe brought big FAs who were old or broken. His FA recruitment success was clearly Artest.

guys didn't want to play with kobe because of how demanding he was. he was about winning and nothing else

lebron is the type of guy players line up to play with. if he can't recruit another star to this team then there's problems within the organization we don't know about

I don’t think this is really true anymore. There is AD so I’ll give that, but we have and appear to be seeing more players going a different direction. I think a lot of guys have seen that when Lebron wins, he gets a majority of the credit. When he loses, the blame rests on the supporting cast. For these up and coming star free agents, playing next to an aging Lebron could damage their brand.

No i know, but the media spotlight on Lebron is in a different level. When you factor in the possibility of a decline given his age, I think we’ve started seeing and are projected to see this summer that his recruiting ability will decline with his body.

I'm not giving Kob that one at all. Metta ran up on Kob in the showers after Game6 proclaiming he'd help Kob out the next year in defeating Boston. If anything sealed the deal it was "the" Mamba, not Kob...haha.

Unfortunately Bron's groin is damaged goods this year and won't be much help this summer. We can all thank sirron for that tho.

    Btw....the recruiting has already started.

That’s how Kobe recruited. Be so good others want to play with you. Got Barnes too. He was like Artest but not as good.

Sorry Bron, you're not on that level. 0/7 isn't bad though
