Let him develop , there is absolutely no need to spend big at the PG position during the summer , use the capspace in others areas .

Hopefully we will have a decent team next season because :

    - It's always difficult to judge the true quality and potential of a player on a terrible team

    - It's important for a young player to acquire and develop good habits on both sides off the floor ... easier to do on a decent team led by a good coaching staff .

Jc is going to be a stud! He's already a starting material pg and by spending stupid money on a non shooting pg named rondo, will impede his development! The Smart thing to do is to wait till after the Draft and then build around your new young nucleus! Kobe is by far my favorite player of all time I even used to make YouTube mixtapes of the man.... But father time has caught up now it's his time to be a role model for these young guys and teach them how to be successful. Our future is bright if and only if we make the right decisions.

Man this kid is a warrior. Couple of turned ankles and he still was out there battling. 23 points, 6 assists, 5 rebounds, 5 steals, and a block.

    Tremendous.

I really, really hope he isn't sitting the last game though. I got tickets because they were super cheap just hoping to be able to watch him play.

He shouldn't play if he isn't healthy, but another good performance from Clarkson and he'll break the 17 PER mark. Nearly there (16.97).

Only Laker rookies to crack the 17 PER mark in their rookie seasons (playing 260+ minutes)? Divac, Magic, Worthy, and Baylor. Yeah.

And Divac was an established player with international experience when he joined the Lakers.

I didn't like him to play the whole game on a back to back. We don't have many options, but he's nothing to prove and there's nothing to win. So it doesn't matter who's the PG.

Man, if the Lakers go out and sign Rondo, it will show they have little clue as to what they're doing and they are undoubtedly living in a prehistoric era of basketball. Why would we sign an inferior pg to 10 TIMES MORE MONEY (likely amount) that our current starting pg makes?

I have confidence in our FO that they aren't that stupid. We've never made a mistake of that magnitude before.

it's all about making money man. Getting a supposed big name puts more ppl on our Lakers seats. Why do you think they offered Kobe that type of money?

How is Rondo going to put buts in the seats? By bricking free throws, clashing with the coach, ignoring the defensive end, and playing halfass? If we sign Rondo, it will be the worst decision the Lakers have made in their 60+ years of existence.

I completely agree with you. All I'm saying if they do sign rondo that will be the reason also kobe publicly wanting rondo.... I rather we go for a center or sf in free agency

I know we havn't seen much from Randle but I'm more high on Clarkson then I am on Randle (in terms of where I think they'll end up).

^Seen that earlier; thanks for posting. Great 1st season from him, completely exceeded expectations, and I think will be even better next season...
