There was one play late in the game where Zu was trying to avoid the charge, so he passed to the corner, but PG read it and jumped the lane. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Zu run faster than he did to get back on D for that play. Pretty sure he helped stop the break.

With McGee struggling to regain his form since pneumonia and TC’s limitations on O, I agree this is the starting lineup change to make for now.

Speaking of pneumonia - it definitely took a lot out of MCG. He can't move that well anymore. Needs some extra time to rest. I am thinking that, when Bron comes back, we start Zubac and give JaVale some DNPs ("old age", as coach Pop likes to call it). We need him fresh later in the season. Zu is good enough to start now. His conditioning is good and he has those strong legs; he does not struggle against any big anymore.

THIS. The one time I bail on a Thursday Laker game to see a movie (Glass), I miss one of the best games of the season.

They were blatantly in favor of OKC. Yea they missed the Kuz 8 sec but that ball of off Westbrook, as you said, could of cost us the game. That bs 3 sec call on us too. I was surprised they didn't "T" up Luke cause he was going hard on the ref about that. This is one of the first games I thought we were truly playing against 8 people.

I refuse to watch tonight's rockets game. Not out of protest, but out of consideration for my own physical and mental health. Harden is infuriatingly unwatchable. He ruins my enjoyment of NBA basketball. If we meet them in the playoffs I'm screwed.

Luke did a great job working the ref there, I have to say. Putting pressure on them without getting a T is not easy.

I’ve expressed the same fear to friends. I think we could beat the Rockets in a 7 game series, but either way it would give me a heart attack.

The only thing I post in here it seems.....

    Refs.

Yes, we knew the Rockets would get the calls. And to be frank I figured we were going to get blown out because of it. Our boys made mistakes that KCP airball was bad as well as Kuz dropping the ball out of bounds. I don't have a WMC for any of our players. We battled. We fought. We got hosed. Oh Lonzo getting hurt is a WMC.

Tough loss. Another injury. Awful officiating. Two big mistakes down the stretch from Kuz and KCP.

That KCP shot was HORRIBLE! If he makes it great, but that was a very bad shot regardless. Also if Lonzo doesn't get injured, we win this game.

Yeah. We were clearly a different team after Lonzo went down.

I was hoping the lakers would win as a big F U to the refs and the league. but nope injury happens then kcp with the wtf moment and kuz with too much butter on his fingertips... I really hate Houston and the Houston refs.
