I just had a random thought exercise. How good would this current Lakers team be in this era if we replace LeBron with prime Kobe (2006-2009 Kobe)? Kobe was unstoppable during this time but just had horrible teammates (Smush Parker was the starting point guard, he was literally playing at rucker park before he signed his contract with the Lakers). I think they with prime Kobe on this team, we would be slightly better than we are now... we might be 19-9 and tied for 1st in the west instead of 17-11. What’s everyone else’s thoughts?
Richard Jefferson yesterday: "I'll tell you a Kobe story. (After he was fouled, the refs) were trying to figure out if he was shooting or not. Kobe told them 'I haven’t passed the ball all night.'.. They kinda looked around and were like 'Yeah. Let's give him 2 free throws.' It was great logic." Spoiler: Link

Since we are reminiscing the Smush days , remember the Cachooka videos "mixing" each Lakers game highlights with dope rap songs ? s*** was fire
I never saw this angle before with the just slightly disrespectful push off attempt that Dwight was falling away from. I like it even more now. "Baptized"
