That's really too bad about Wayne, but it's what I figured. We got significantly worse with Buycks instead, but that's alright. We'll see what he's got and we'll probably lose more games.
Saw that collision with Sir Duke and it didn't look good. I also thought it was separated shoulder the way he was holding. Sucks to see that. But yeah, probably good for the tank.
Maybe it'll secure a couple losses and drop his cost this summer by a dollar or two. Both would be great for us
I was unimpressed. He was unable to make the passes he wanted to, forced a couple shots offensively, and was ineffectively defensively. I'm willing to give him another chance though since this is the first game he's played with our squad.
Either way, he literally showed up and was thrown onto the court. Worth a few more games to gauge him. Brown at least had some familiarity with the team since he was here over the summer and has since played with a few guys on the D-Fenders when they got dropped down there (not including playing with JC in college).
I didn't watch the game but from the box score it looks like he's a decent scorer. But 3 assists to 4 turnovers isn't gonna cut it. But still, you gotta be happy for the guy. From out of the league one day to suddenly playing 30+ minutes and scoring 15 points for the Lakers. He's gotta be ecstatic right now even if it doesn't lead to anything.
Well I'm not sure I agree with that. Firstly, Buycks is a PG and Brown is most definitely a SG. Secondly, Buycks might be more efficient from the field, but he's also racked up 8 turnovers in a relatively short span of time as a PG. Not good. Mostly I don't like him because he's small, not all that strong, and doesn't have good vision for a PG. He doesn't have the kind of speed or quickness to negate his height (like Barea or Mugsy). Just not a fan really... I liked Goudelock more than this guy and they're cut from the same cloth to me. Buycks a little better as a ball-handler and Goudelock a little better as a shooter.
