Nelson isn't a 1st option anymore... We have Warren who wherever he is could be tried out as a bell-cow back. The O-Line with our new tackles is a work in progress. I still like Carr who should be better after one season in Gruden's system.
Cardinals suck. Raiders suck. The Raiders suck a bit more, but how much more? I've got Cardinals 24-18. The line is currently Arizona -5.5. I'd take the Cards at that point, but if the line moves toward Arizona any more, watch out.
After losing three in a row, the Ravens got back in the W column with a rookie starter. Those three teams that beat them were 23-7-1, and all might make the playoffs (two definitely will). On the other hand, the Raiders won just their second game of the Second Gruden Era. This could be an ugly game, but the Ravens are 11 point favorites. Stats are perhaps midly skewed by Flacco's early performance, but I have things looking bleak for Oakland. The Raiders may struggle to move the ball, and if that happens, the Ravens will be able to put pressure on the D with a running QB. Ravens 30 Raiders 14 I'm 6-2 vs. the spread after losing last week. I'd take the Ravens this week.
Kansas City is going to be without a player who has amassed 1202 yards and 14 scores this season. The Raiders will be without much reason to win. KC is going to roll up points, and if Hunt had been in the game, I'd be confident giving KC 16 points. Without him, I think it's still going to be close to that. KC 36 OAK 20
That was a good performance - offense piled up yards, we protected the pick, and KC taunted the Oakland fans. Perfect for making Raiders fans hate the s*** out of them even more.
Went to my first game in Oakland. Took my biz partner who loves the Raiders to her very first Raiders game. Flew in this morning. Rocked out at the stadium. ERUPTED in the 4th. Yes, ill take it.
Bengals are 3-point favorites at home. And the over/under is 46. I love how the Raiders are playing, and they might be able to roll up some points, but their defense is still not there. Their run D could get shredded. Bengals 28 Raiders 23
Starting two guys on the o-line who were basically on the street. Dreadful performance so far, and Kolton Miller is strongly to blame.
Nightmare game. Richard a nice pickup on first, has the first down on the second play, and then he...fumbles and loses it.
Offense gets going a bit with long play to Waller. Touchdown Smith. Carr sets Oakland record with (278?) passes without INT.
Roberts drops a sure first down. Then the Raiders surrender ANOTHER sack. Miller is getting absolutely worked today.
Has a player signed TO A PRACTICE SQUAD ever led to so much ridicule? Carr leads NFL in checkdowns with 56. I wonder if the obliterated WR corps and offensive line have anything to do with that.
