If we had won those 2 games against Orlando, we'd be the #1 seed in the West right now.

    After tonight:

    1. DEN .696
    2. LAC .696
    3. OKC .681
    4. GSW .640
    5. LAL .609

Spurs play us @ home next and it's the 2nd night of a B2B roadie for them after playing in Utah tomorrow. Things can change fast. For instance if we beat the Spurs twice in this double matchup (Tues & Thurs) we jump up to .640 likely still in 5th but GSW could falter to vs The Cavs or (more likely) The Bucks (both roadies) we could pass them up.

God...I had Nuggets and Clippers both losing tonight and of course, they both found ways to win

I can kinda understand the Nuggets winning this much...but the Clippers? How do they continue to win?

I think Clippers are likely staying in...>Utah isn't goin to re-enter..but I believe Rockets and Pelicans will end up making it and Dallas (8th seed currently) and Memphis (6th seed) will both drop out.

Spurs I do not believe will make it this year...but my sleeper team right now to maybe sneak in is Minnesota. They've been markedly better since the trade.

I'm shocked OKC is playing as well as they are. I mean, they did lose a future hall of famer for nothing in Me7o.

Yeah, Nugs and cLips are ahead of us in the standings, but they just beat Kawhi and AD's squads...so I ain't all that mad.

Focusing more on AD, he had video game numbers vs the Heat and lost. He followed that up with crazy numbers vs Charlotte and won. Then he has pedestrian numbers in the 2nd part of a back to back tonight and his squad couldn't pull it out for dude. Jrue played back to back 40min nights, had 30pts tonight and they came up short. Jules had a career night, but of course fouled out and came up short. Niko & Payton havent been consistently healthy this year.

And now the month of December is upon them...

I'm going to be a part time Mavs fan in the coming weeks for sure... And you best believe we come correct on the 21st, cause I'm sure Jules will.

AD needs to see that Nola ain't the place for his greatness...to the point where a trade demand is the next step. So catching a L from the starless cLips on their home floor is fine by me.

Another thing fine by me is Minny beating the struggling Rockets. They were up 19 and lost by 12. They had 9 points total in the 4th and 2 of those came from a concession dunk to Capela to end the game.

The time for seed jockeying will come...but right now let the petty warz ensue.

I was torn honestly between the Pelicans and Clippers game last night in who I wanted to lose:

    - Paper Clips because they are ahead of us in the standings and they are who they are
    OR
    - Pelicans getting another loss upsets Davis more and brings them closer to having trouble making the playoffs and if his team misses the playoffs he's definitely not going to be secure with wanting to stay and is more open to being traded.

As for the Raptors failing to beat the Nuggets it's a bummer because Danny Green had two great looks in the final seconds from 3 to put them up by 2 points over DEN but couldn't make them, ugh...

IF we could trade for AD, I'd ask for Randle back to you and tell him we'll hook him up with that long term deal but he has to fire Mintz 1st lol

It would be redundant to get Randle if we get AD because they both play the same position(s)...that and we have like a million forwards.

What happened to Portland? They were at the top of the West a few games ago and now slipping, with a loss to the Mavs. Mavs rising up as well.

    Truly the wild wild west.

I actually hate that they lost by about 30 points because you know Pop got om them again and they will be a lot more locked in against us.

Its kind of like when we had lost 2 games in a row then played the Pacers and came out really strong.

I think having a team like them motivated will test us since they are more disciplined and have a system.

    I say bring it on!

Lotta Western Conference teams playing tonight. LAC/MEM is kind of a win-win for us.
