Well .... I'm not the Devil but will play him here and advocate ....

Not if we still had Randle and Brolo on the team along with McGee now, even following the loss of Nance and Clarkson. And the progression from everyone would look different not having to adjust to LeBron's game.

That said of course it is better that we have him here. But let's not discount how much that has impacted the "kids" games that had developed to the point where they had at the end of last season.

I did not want Lebron here but I have to say from watching him closely he is better than I thought. He seems to still be the best player around and the gap widening. After New Years when he turns it on it will be a sight to behold. I'm an old dude so I've seen all of Kareem, Magic, Jordon and Kobe's careers along with part of Wilt's. The reason I always stay with Kareem as the GOAT was through his first 15 years he was almost always the most dominant player on the court. Dominant on both ends. He controlled both ends with high IQ. All else fails give him the ball, that sky hook was as close to automatic as you get.

Do you see that? Does that look like a guy who would be 4-13?

Not his best game tonight (5 TO's, sub .500 shooting, weak first half) but he turned it on when it mattered and powered us to the victory. I'll take it.

That's why the NBA is unfair.

You need one horse to throw the ball to in crunch time and he will get you 10 more wins a year. There are always a handful of those guys and the lucky teams that get them will be successful.

Thats why nba players have significantly more leverage than other players in other sports.

Look at him looking at himself on camera.

    :Noddingyes:

He's stuck on himself pretty bad.

One thing I like is that Bron is showing good leadership here: being a mentor, telling BI to be more aggressive and encouraging him in general; tweeting about Lonzo, how he sees a future star in him, but Zo is the one who has to recognize it etc.

I think LeBron is pushing all the right buttons right now, even making our veteran centers feel good about the team. He doesn’t need to tell Rondo anything though. Rajon is too smart for that lol... he knows what needs to be done anyway. :Rondonod:
