Lebron will never win another MVP. Those days are done. And this is coming from his biggest fan. Just trying to be real here.

Honest question LT, did you watch Kareem play during his career or is this based on highlight clips only? Asking only because you always seemed to be one of the younger folks around here to me. I didn't get to watch the Cap live and couldn't really say how great his back to the basket game was, but it must have been pretty great for him to collect the numbers he did in yes when there were still many very good to great post players around the league.

Hey Samson. I watched him play and really have no problem with someone else's opinion of him being the best all around player in history of the game. Vash is right with the length of the career, 38,387 points, dominance, MVPs and championships. As I have said several times my opinion is based on the overall mastery of the game, which to me includes elite dribbling, long distance shooting and Hakeem, Kobe and Jordan level of footwork which for sheer repertoire (I think) edges Cap. Plus the championships and dominance and scoring and defense. They are all right there. And don't any of Kareem, MJ and Kobe look back because LeBron is breathing down their necks.

Seems to me you took my question as offensive which was not my intention, sorry if it came across that way. Now... How old are you really dude? :Magic2:

Bron is the best of all time at cumulating stats across the board, never seen anything like that. Doesn't change the fact I'm still terrified of his contract in 2-3 years, that may not be pretty. Nevertheless, if he helps us get a ring in the meantime, I will embrace his old declining a$$ and maybe even accept him as one of the best Lakers ever.

Is it just me or are we having some unusual tension around here lately?

He's looking like he's still the absolute best player in the league right now. I'll take that. Hopefully next summer we'll get him a running mate or two who are vying for that best player title themselves. When we do we can truly contend.

In the meantime it's a joy to watch the Lakers be the Lakers again. It's killer to be have a chance to win every single game we play. It's incredible to have a winning record again. I can't believe how long the drought has been and I'm enjoying this so much! It's still mind-blowing to me that Lebron more than anything WANTED to come here and is determined to bring us back to the top. Good time to be a Laker fan after a lot of sucking.

One thing I can begin to respect about LeBron's game, (that in the sports world is somewhat forbidden) is that it's strategic as well. I know we love the killer instinct mode and for players to go for the jugular no matter what, but he never really felt the need to do it? If that makes sense.

His approach is a lot of like Floyd Mayweather. If he has a off game, he doesn't keep shooting or try to keep scoring, bcuz if ur shot is off, your shot is just off no need to mess up your percentage. He's been able to avoid injury and stay healthy prolonging his run. He doesn't try to score in areas he's not supreme at. He sticks to his basics and it really has him at the top statistically.

He didn't even need superhuman scoring games in order to get where he is. He has the most strategically orchestrated career I've seen, and that's something you can no longer hate on, because he'll be sitting at the top alone soon.

I wouldn't worry about LeBron 2-3 years from now. He's arguably still the best player in the league, and it's indisputable that he's the best player in the league on the nights he wants to be. Most players are still pretty good 2-3 years after being the best player in the league.

Oh you didn't know? LT stands for Lil' Tay

Oh you didn't know? There's BEEN tension, particularly in sirron's drawers, the day Bron signed. He's clearly torn...but I think he took it too literally when I said, if you can't "beat" em, join em.

Oh sorry not at all. "Hey Sampson" was totally meant in an affectionate way. No "h***" .... you know. Sorry if those 2 words sounded like a "Hey Samson!" or "Dude!" tone.

Lebron looks like he is gonna age like Karl Malone. Barring freak injury where a scumbag piece of s*** Scott Williams falls on his knee, likely Lebron will play the next 4 years at peak level. At least 3.

Another vintage Bron game. Impressive. Hopefully he won't get tired of doing this.

This is a very good observation. Mayweather is a nice comparison, his sort of selective approach to choosing fights has always been in the best interest for himself and his success. LeBron is probably the most PR-calculated athlete we've ever seen. It extends into his play, especially when media tries to talk about "narratives" in the NBA season.

I literally just don't even care to respond. I did a public service by taking down www.ihatelebron.com so I wasn't spreading hate regarding the team, but I don't even care to pay attention to the games any longer. I sometimes play it in the background while I'm on the computer working, but I rarely even look at the action. Or lack of it in our case.

I'm glad everyone is happy and excited. I just don't think I'll be around much this year or until he's gone. I just find it so unenjoyable to watch for whatever reason. I'm taking a short vacation out of the country soon. Maybe that will recharge some give a damn.

I don't have the link anymore, but I read stats after LeBron missed both FT's at the end on the SA Game that said that LBJ was near or at the bottom of the League in FT% in crunch time if it is a 1 or 2 point game.
I found it hard to believe, but the more I see him in these situations, the more it appears to be unfortunately true.

Outside of that & the possessions he takes off on Defense, he's a pretty damn remarkable Player.

Welp...idk how many more games we'll need from him where he bails us out like this...but we seriously cannot keep driving him into the ground

People complain about kids having trouble playing with Bron (i would love to play with a guy like that) but without him, we would be 4-13 at best.
