I said it before he came and although it’s early in the season you are seeing it transpire. Lebron is stunting our young guys growth.

I’m totally convinced if we just signed a second tier star like Paul George, etc., kept Randle and the rest of our roster intact, we’d feel a lot better with our direction and I believe we’d be in a better spot in the standings. Our chemistry would be a whole year older because we’d have the same guys and everyone would know their role. Our young guys looked lost, scared and like they don’t know how to play basketball at times. And this rings true for any superstar that would have come. Our young guys need play to get better.

This is what we have and for those of you who were advocating for Lebron and calling us haters ridiculous, you will all be real sad when our young guys end up getting traded for vets and we still lose in the playoffs because of how awesome Lebron ball works. At this rate none of our young guys will ever be all stars, they got no room to do anything but watch Lebron do his thing. It would be the same thing if it was Kobe or any other superstar. Superstars don’t work with young up and coming teams, unless the superstar is one of the young up and coming players on the team.

Like I said, it’s early, but not too confident it will change. Again, what did we get Lebron for?

Guys like Kawhi and Durant seem to blend in ok without always taking over.

It’s just the control freak stars that are the issue. Lebron is one of them.

It's nothing new Lebron doesn't care much and play lazy at the start of the season .

The pb is his team doesn't play in the Least anymore

The problem with being the best player in the game as that other players give you the ball and defer to you too much to the detriment of the team. LeBron is a very unselfish player, and across his whole career he has prooven that.

Kobe had that problem too. His teammates would give him the ball, and then they would ball watch and not cut and move and hope he would bail them out. This is no different if everyone is being objective.

Except you knew damn well Kobe was going to put the team on his back and go for the win. What does Lebron do?
He'll dribble until the shot clock is low with a few seconds left and thennpass it off to someone that has no chance to get a quality look. On then off chance Lebro does get to the rim, hes been missing gimmies all season and he has to realize hes not getting the same calls he used to because of the purple and gold armor.

No one was good defensively but this... we need more Lebron as the leader of this team.

LeBron played horribly. There's no way to sugarcoat it. There's no way to deny it.

He played like absolute ****. I expect more from him.

When things improve, I hope we can all enjoy it together.

I think it has more to do with effort than age. He wasn't even trying last night. I don't know what his goal was or what message he was sending, but he wasn't engaged at all.

Since I had bought in to the greater good of more winning now plus our best young players we keep get to see how it's done from preparation and mindset of one of the greatest in the history of the game...... I too have been calling him (implied as still) the best player in the game today. Well that is just not true. Age plays a part as well as mileage and if you have to methodically play at not your most energetic and capable level going forward during every regular season, on BOTH sides of the ball, then you simply are no longer the BEST. Now that he's proving again he can play at the highest level on offense and defense .... maybe it's Leonard now? Or Durant now? Other? But it can't be someone radically pacing themselves, to the detriment of the team during the regular season.

We should but we won’t. It would be the most amazing thing in the history of western civilization if we did though.
