Knight was bad before he tore his acl.

    They need a player.

And Houston is in a much better position than bkn was--again, we don't know the protections, etc, either.

Yeah, I think that's what thibs is telling Taylor. Keep jimmy, move Wiggins for whatever it takes. See how the summer shakes out. If jimmy walks, he walks then, and you don't eat knight's deal in the process.

Brooklyn thought they were winning a title, it's the same position Houston thinks they're in now. They had KG, they had Pierce, they had an All-Star Center at the time in Brook Lopez. They had a still pretty good Deron Williams. They thought they'd built a champion. It's the same position Houston is trying to find themselves.

This is a huge mistake, a huge risk and the Wolves should do it.

That being said, they look awful. I'd try to find a way to sneak Towns out of there if I could. That whole team is clearly imploding, they clearly hate each other. If Thibs wins this, then Wiggins and Towns should be low-key available. A new situation might help Towns figure it out.

Lopez didn't win MVP; they weren't a strained groin from a title. There's a reason chubs is offering those picks.

No, the Nets were much deeper and were seen as contenders at the time though. They had Andrei Kirilenko off the bench. Jason Terry off the bench. The next season I think they added Joe Johnson too.

He's offering those picks because he's desperate and he knows his window is smaller than people assume.

Deng finally got 12 minutes last night..... 2 -7 for 4 points with 0 - 3 3pt, 5 rebounds, no assists or turnovers.

Firing catfish won’t help the roster Dan.

But maybe Lue cries after every game and is inconsolable after losing the best player in the world. Maybe he’s not really a good coach and Lebron went to the finals despite him.

The reality is that it’s likely nobody knows. Too small of a sample size post Lebron. But it’s easiest to fire the coach rather than change the whole roster.

This Twolves situation is just waiting to explode into something bigger the longer they hold out on trading Butler, or even just anyone at this point. They had a promising (on paper) young team before the trade for Butler: Dunn, Lavine, Wiggins, (potentially Markkanen), and Towns. And they've completely butchered that along with post Butler trade.

they beat our a**** despite the turmoil. i think butler's moved by week's end. i think they're waiting on some houston contracts to become moveable. note how quiet it's been--could be because deal is already agreed to in principle and other suitors were notified.

Can we get Klay and AD this summer. While trading LBJ somehow?

Blasphemy. It will be insane to trade the best player on the planet unless you got the haul for the ages.

LOL. That would be "the haul for the ages" Both in their prime and 2 of them vs 1 of slightly over his prime and uber high miles LBJ.

Lol, real question: if we have Lou Williams, are we over .500?

no haha. Imagine him trying to play defense on our switch happy team. We already have to help/swarm the post because we're undersized and now we'd have to do the same thing to help Lou Will

But the trade isn’t Lebron for those two. Depends what else you give up, but it’s an intriguing combo.

However, I don’t think Klay desires to play with Lebron based on past comments.
