I don’t see that AT ALL. I’m not even sure where there’s a correlation actually. Somewhat polar opposites to me besides being ex Lakers.
Should have been more detailed in my post. What I meant was, they will both be irrelevant and rarely talked about. Exceptional talents, but missing the next level mental game that wins games on a night in, night out bases. Plug ins on title teams or 3rd options on bad teams. Nothing more.
I see Randle as the harder worker, and more likely to succeed long term. DAR seems to be smoother with a more natural seeming talent. I think they can both be on the cusp of being an All Star at their positions at some point in their career, but that might be it. I bet they have solid 10+ year careers and retire multi millionaires, but never sniff the type of success you hope for at a #2 or #6 pick in the draft if you are a championship driven club. While I hope I'm wrong, it seems to be a fairly "fair" assessment based on current trajectories.
HA. That's like weather in the high Sierras. Stick around it will change. Just done a lot better here.
Welcome. Allow me to introduce you to @sirronstuff, the man, the legend, the gifmaker. If there ever was a LakersBall mascot, he would be it.
