I'd like to see him get the Clarkson treatment next year, and when a former superstar goes down with a season ending injury, give him playing time and see what the young man can do. Shooting 50%? He is staying within himself, but makes me wonder what he can do with practice, exposure, experience, and confidence. Clarkson doesn't even look like the same guy right now.

Bring him back for another camp invite to see if he's improved yet again. I like what I've seen from his development from when he joined us in training camp to how he's playing now. He should definitely be playing on our Summer League team too.

@Battle Tested20 definitely. With him on the summer league team he'd get more opportunities with his former college teammate Clarkson. The developing of their chemistry together I think will be his best shot of staying here long term.

I'm more excited about our summer league team than I am this God awful team we have now.
Randle, Clarkson, Black, Brown (assuming), and potentiality 3 rookies. That's going to be fun.

That Summer League team could be one of the better ones we've had. We usually don't win a ton of games in the Summer League.

So far, Jabari is a 7.5/1.5/1.5 player. That's not horrible.

I don't even want to go there with our last 3 years but I just hope everyone makes it through these games, camp and pre season with no inures worse than 1 week off.

Jabari Brown signed a multi year deal just now. Good move. He could be a nice cheap replacement in case we don't bring back Ellington or need a 3rd PG/SG.

Had to double check to make sure it wasn't an April Fool's, but multiple reports are in: Jabari Brown is back for the remainder of this season with a non-guaranteed deal for next season.

Ladies and gentlemen we may have found our backup SG and we may have found him at the minimum. Jim and Mitch are doing an incredible job right now.

I think we have something here. I hope he can move from ten day contracts to ten points a game.

Congratulations for showing what heart, courage and a historically bad Lakers team vs Philadelphia can do if you are in the right place at the right time.

Keep building dat bench Mitch. Hope he can keep playing hungry, we have a deep and interesting history with Brown's in this Franchise (Kwame, Shannon, Mike to name just the most recent.)

I have a feeling that the bench is already built and the rebuild will end with this years draft. Then its build and reload. We are already building - i think post ASB we have a pretty good +- for a team losing so many games. At least we are not getting blown out on regular basis.

Good move. We picked Tarik off of waivers and Brown from the developmental league; two guys that are cheap and will be in our rotation next year.

Mitch did a fantastic job, once again. I hope he can do some major moves this summer though.

This is a real feel good story. Him and Clarkson running mates in college and Jordan gets the first break with playing time and steps his game up like no other rookie in the league this year starting late, and now Jabari gets some playing time and in the same way just keeps getting more relaxed and fluid (some slick damn moves in this clip) and is blowing up in a similar way. I have wondered of late if he may not be a more "consistent" shooter than Duke. Duke maybe a little more athletic, but Jabari holds his own and if he can keep working on whatever they tell him his weaknesses are, hell yeah! Good to see. Gotta be like a dream come true to those 2 guys.

Clarkson, Black, Randle, Kelly, Brown- 7.44 million dollars. That's almost half our bench and two probable starters for under eight million dollars. At the very least it's five NBA caliber players for under eight million dollars.

    Remarkable.

I like Jabari a lot. I think he brings a cool demeanor, he's aggressive, and he limits his mistakes. It took a minute to get to this level and you can see the maturity it forced on him. Good story and I'm happy and excited for him.
