I didn’t see the game, but KCP and Beasley appear to remain awful signings from the box score. Williams appears to have been a smart re-signing. Defense though, we have now given up 128, 124, and 143 in our 3 games, which is disgusting. I realize the pace we play at, I realize the 143 was overtime, but still, awful. Did LeBron actually look good this game at least? Box score looks good mostly, but he is a stat stuffer so that can be deceiving.

Also how is it with two games at home we again have two players on the opposite team that have as many FT's as our entire team?

This. Probably when you're the Lakers, there is no such thing as home court advantage.

Yeah those were good stats Weezy. He played well and reasonably hard on defense I thought. Wasn't perfect so there's that. Too much iso and dribbling a few times, missed 2 clutch time FTs back to back but hit some big shots and the biggest with the clock down to 2 plus seconds an obviously huge 3 pointer to tie the game and send it to overtime.

    Very simple...we suck at defense.

Against SA we simply couldn't stop Aldridge from doing whatever he wants to...did he get a couple of bogus calls? yes. But mostly we couldn't stop him.

    My WMC...

Svi is Sasha 2.0...can't hit a friggin shot if his life depended on it.

Zubac...hot garbage. Doesn't deserve a second of NBA basketball anymore.

Stephenson and Beasley are trash....what a HUGE surprise :SadPau2:

KCP has done absolutely nothing to get better in the summer. He literally said "I worked on my diet"...thats a polite way of saying I laid on my azz.

We just can't seem to defend without fouling.

Free throws. There's a reason we need to make them and especially in close games such as these. Work on those FT's Lakers.

Agreed with all the above except with Lance...thought he provided the initial spark that led to the comeback. Of course not without a Lance play or two.

^yes, his 3 and especially his and1...(even though he missed the FT I believe).

But he has a couple of momentum killers too...boneheaded plays...stupid offensive foul and in the 4th...he literally turned and gave the ball to the opposition. Unacceptable.

Free throws and defense are my issues.

We could be at least 2-1 if we could get some stops.

The refs aren’t helping but we’ve got to make them count when we get to the line.

He’s erratic and his game is analytic disaster but I actually kinda like Lance. Lol

If Beasley isn’t scoring he’s worthless.

I liked Lance too today. He even had a Team high +17 in +/-.

Sure he has his Lance moments but he plays his heart out every sec he is on the court.

lance hasn't disappointed me. the beasley signing was puzzling from the moment it occurred.

swap kcp/beasley for randle/lopez, and we might be the second-best team in the conference instead of what right now looks like a fight for our playoff lives. and that's being generous after an 0-3 start.

Team Defense is Awful... Everything needs to start there.
We can score & we'll get better at end of game situations, but we can't stop anybody.
Rotations & switches are slow & weak.. I think they know this though, so hoping it gets fixed soon.
They have the pieces to be a good Defensive Team.

defense sucks again. what else is new? the organization still hasn't made a commitment to improve defense which is absolutely ridiculous. been that way for years now

KCP is pure garbage. sad that he's only in LA because he shares lebron's agent. they are really missing randle right now. letting him go was a big mistake

Refs and the Officiating Overall. I'm so glad Luke decided to get fined and speak his mind.

Just watch from the start of this interview to the 1:30 min mark. Luke shares what every Lakers fan was thinking during some of those calls and how Harden and Paul got those same calls the other night.

    Thank you Luke

    That's insulting to hot garbage.

Watching Zubac feels like watching a slapstick comedy about an elephant that was allowed to play in the NBA through some loophole in the rules.

Hearing we work on nothing but defense in training camp but don’t see it ever translate to the court. We don’t have stupid players for the most part, so it’s either effort or do I dare say (@ZenMaster) coaching.
