Yeah, I get the Rondo for Randle swap. Not mad about it.

The Beasley for Lopez swap is the headscratcher since Lopez signed for about the same $$$. Unless, the FO is playing the ninja long game with Beasley being KD's BFF.

Yeah. I was very critical of Lopez at multiple points during last season, but I don't get not bringing him back. Haven't heard anything about him asking for too much cash or anything so i don't know.

I just don't think we wanted Randle long term and our relationship with Mintz probably killed any small chance we'd bring him back. I honestly think Rondo is going to pay off but on and off the court.

That said, I’m probably more concerned about Lance’s fit than anyone else right now.

It was a long enough summer without having to wait three days into the season to see our Lakers. :Bangbrick4:

Can you say damage control? What a bunch of bull. He probably got flack over the summer while out and about in LA. He wants to try to smooth things over. Not happening with me.

I think he is starting to regret it already. It will get worse as the Lakers get closer to a title. As Westbrook starts to breakdown, OKC will go down every year. Paul George cost himself greatness. Pretty sad actually.

    1. regarding the earlier thread of conversation, the rondo/randle thing maybe wasn't necessary, as we paid kcp more than either and used cap space to do so.
    2. i believe george. it's exactly what i said at the time. i think the lakers prodded his agent to make waves with indy, telling him we'd swoop in and trade for him, then we pulled all of our assets off the table and tried to play hardball. this is totally what i think happened. and we got burned. maybe he did, too, but we definitely did. if we had no intention of offering ingram or the #2, we should have stayed out of it and just waited. now, one could argue that i'm wildly speculating about our involvement in the initial trade demand/suggestion, but i think there's a LOT of smoke there.

i know everyone hates george right now, but we'd rather have him and lebron than lebron and kcp/rondo/beasley/stephenson. fo sho.

That narrative fits and coulda happened. But Paula is such a people-pleasing PC p***** that I believe she woulda gotten traded regardless.

Indy would have gotten wind that Georgina was out and wasn't going to sign the supermax with them even if the "hellbent to LA" thing didn't come out. They would have traded her either way.

So there is no way Paula walks onto our roster with the kids since we either trade our kids for her or she gets traded elsewhere and decides to OKC that situation/destination instead.

The fact that this skirt brings this up right now is a way for her to try and kiss a** to us after she dodged us in free agency. But the chick is so tone deaf (or maybe she isn't), that this just makes Toronto even more confident in retaining Kawhi.

Just stop speaking on us p**** p...you're in OKshe and enjoy bringing lil Raphie out his shell on a nightly basis.

Also, no way is this p**** worth a package of Zo/BI, which is what would have made Pritch-hard and nothing else.

You were a free agent, dips***! You coulda come here with lebron AND the young core. But you'd have preferred to come to a team with LESS assets because we traded for you? Get the f outta here!

    Please make it stop...

Just face the facts that Mintz f***ed you and now your gaping a** is Russ's.

cLippers could still be an option, but the #show don't want you.

Everyone and their grandparents have figured out that you need shooting to win in the NBA except our bleepingly dumb front office.

We want tough playmakers lol... Trying to shoot is a trap.... The question is rather why are the Lakers looking at GS... We can't even beat crap teams it seems.

Awful 3 point shooting (media gonna have a field day with that one), Kuz at the 5 isn't going to work when we make someone like Collins look great out there (gave up a lot of momentum there in the second half), which leads to Kuz looking like he regressed playing out of position like that.

Also the team looks lost without Rondo or Lebron out there.
