Metta World Peace Discussion: All aboard the Peace train!

You don't want to put serious weight (good weight - muscle) on that quickly or all at once. That's how injuries happen as the body isn't used to the added load all of a sudden. I'm fine with how Brandon is progressing. Magic and Rob in talking in the exit interview that Brandon has to get stronger so he can play more games. But this doesn't mean add a ton of muscle in the wrong areas.

2010... That season then as Artest was shutting off the opponent's best scorer, driving Jackson crazy with his shot selection AND loved by the team as their resident enforcer. Those and driving racing cars on the L.A. streets.

 

I will always remember how receptive he was to hanging out with fans and using social media to connect. He would often on twitter say lets all meet at so and so beach to play soccer or something. He even gave out his cell phone number on twitter for fans people to reach out to him if need be to have someone to talk to. I have his cell number in my phone still.

I never called him but loved telling the story to other people. He was a unique player in a time when we didn't always have a ton of unqiue players with his background growing up and the things he had to overcome. Just look at what he did with his one championship ring auctioning it off to help fund mental health awareness and organizations.
