What a basketball / sports mating Candace and Kobe would have been.

If it were me Rob and Luke should find a way to have mini one or two days across a season Kobe clinics at UCLA Center or at Kobe's house in his own gym where he doesn't even have to travel. Mixed with a casual fun bar be cue or whatever after. He seems to enjoy this as I always figured he would. Some of these guys might be a little shy or feeling Kobe only works with stars. Good economy of scale that way for a fun 2 or 3 hour skills jam session. He can give mini clinics but not so many there from each year's roster that there can't be hands on with the other staff there too. Kobe is just such an amazing asset. It's like the old Big Man Camp Pete Newell ran that was so great..... except Kobe is freaking Yoda when it comes to basketball skills and mentality. And who doesn't love a bar-be-cue?

Do it Rob and Luke. I don't even think Magic's needed to ask that favor each season from Kobe. LeBron could use him some advanced training himself.

Kobe for assistant player development position on Luke's staff.

God I hope Ingram and Ball are reaching out to him like Kuz is.

Yeah BI for sure could benefit and hope he has or does. Ball won't do that. Game is way too disimilar plus the old man's influence. Doubt he's a Bryant fan after Kobe's comment about why didn't they draft Tatum.

Agreed, Zo already has his favorite player and role model of all time on his team now in Lebron. That's who will be mentoring him and teaching him the finer points of the game, his game.

BI certainly should be working with Kobe. He should reach out if he hasn't already.

It's just about picking his brain for that extra edge. But yeah I can see how Lebron would be better for Ball. Resources are there and I want to see our kids take advantage of that considering C bag guys are reaching out to him.

Precisely. And that's why Kobe will be forever my favorite player. Never to be outworked!

Kobe's apparently already or will at some point be working with Luca as well. Based on a photo of them a few days ago with a caption suggesting that.

I fear a "Kobe tutoring gap" building in some other teams' favors. How dumb is that?

    :Crazyartest:

FO should make it mandatory for one or two fun days a year for the whole roster as I mentioned elsewhere. Pay Kobe generously for his time and throw a great bar-be-cue afterwards. It's f****** brilliant Jeanie. Just like Big Man Camp. Every year for the Lakers.

Edit .... Oh Oh! Just watched the clip. IS that Luca? Looks different than the recent photo I saw of them together shaking bro hands like they were buds already.

The 24 effect... Ask and you shall receive (re: Kuzma). Hart is fine on his own so far, same with Ingram. Svi on the other hand.
