I still like the purple statement jerseys even with all that black. Btw, the voice over in the video was done by Kuz. Does that say anything about his availability in trades?

May or may not have just left the Laker Store in El Segundo. The jerseys are definitely more gold. It's wonderful. The piping goes all the way around on the arms and neck.
Gold is back! These look clean, I might have to buy jerseys again. I actually like the black panels on the purple, I've always thought black was our official 4th color and it goes well with the purple. I think it'll look better when worn that laid out like that. Also dig the purple numbering on the gold jersey, makes it pop more for me. One last request Nike, can we wear gold at home, purple on the road and the whites on Sundays again?

Was considering heading over there to pick up a Kuz jersey, but never mind if its that packed. I should have expected it.
Just wanted to share that I bought my first EVER jersey. I took a huge risk and bought off ebay, but it was only $52. The seller was based in New Zealand, but the package came from china. If it's a fake, i don't care...for that price. It has mitchell & ness tags and the numbers and letters are threaded, not just heat printed. It's an A+ knockoff.
I don't think the black stripe on the purple one will look as strange with the shorts as I bet the purple shorts have the stripe too. I actually think it looks a little strange that the gold jersey does't have a stripe because the gold shorts do.
Thanks @therealdeal and @Punk-101 for addressing my concerns. These jerseys are fire and I guess I'll play the contrarian cause that black panel doesn't kill that purple statement jersey for me. Love the reboot and now we need to take that cLipper red away from the Staples Center logo and turn it into purple and/or gold instead.
Even more importantly for you: they only are really selling lebron jerseys. There's dome Kobes and some throwbacks, but 95% LeBron jerseys.
C'mon guys...what are the chances our 4 young studs stay lakers long term? I dont want a lebron jersey. i want two young guys' jerseys but i cant predict the liklihood any or all will get traded.
Exactly, which makes dropping that much money for one of their jersey's a little daunting. That's why I've stuck to jersey shirts and only have a Kobe 8 and Kobe 24 jersey.
I'm thinking if they survive the trade deadline this upcoming season, they're safe. Then again, we could sign kawhi in FA next summer, then flip 3 of 4 of the young kids for AD or something. My guess is probably 1 or 2 get traded next season or next summer. I just don't know who. Hopefully all 4 turn into untouchable assets this next season and we're a homegrown dynasty + lebron, like GSW + KD.
