Are people really ignoring the talent on this team, or is the media again preparing to make all the success about LeBron? Haven't we seen this before?

And rather than looking for the nearest camera why isn't he in the gym working on his back to the basket game?

Low charisma. Bad role model. Who actually likes this guy?

Beautiful stuff right here. Hopefully other players in all sports are doing something similar in their own way. King James showing that leadership.

    “Ice...In...His...V...” - ahhh GTFOH!

Deng getting left out like Wiggins, #DengDump imminent!

In all seriousness, Lebron is winning me over with every interview. He has another one dropping tonight with Rachel Nichols which looks to be great too. October can't come soon enough.

Yea, he’s going to have to up that beard game. Though it looks like a lot of guys are wearing it with no shape. So easy to shape it and have it look stylish. I’m sure the question will come up at some point, and he’s going to have to answer for it. I hope he does at least.

Nichols also just said on SportsCenter she asked LeBron if he considered saying to the Lakers “yeah I’ll come to LA, but only if you do give up the assets that would need to happen to make a deal for Kawhi Leonard or something like that, so he could hit the ground running and be maybe higher up in that power index”. LeBron answered “I like the young core here, again, I think we’re going to be better than people think, I’m with Magic Johnson and Rob Pelinka on not trading away any of those young assets right now”.

Of course, Nichols threw in a “the trade deadline is in February, we’ll see”, as well asking LeBron why he’d want to spend one of the last years of his prime in a build. But LeBron said he doesn’t think this is close to the end of his prime, so he’s saying all the right things.

I like that LeBron said he didn’t want to come in trying to make the Lakers shake things up. I know that was a stated fear on this board when he was rumored to be coming to the team.

I didn’t like her interview. I’ve been more disturbed with these reporters over the years. I guess it’s because of the age of branding.

even if that's what james wanted (forcing mgmt to unload youth for stars) not like hes gona answer truthfully n make himself look bad... that lil snide comment at the end bout we'll see at trade deadline was insulting , james shouldve replied "do better" :No2:

Transcript of Rachel Nichols (RN) interview with LABron James (LJ)...and I only reproduced the Lakercentric Q&A.

    Doc Buss shout out!

I encourage yall to read the rest of it at the link I provided above...he covers the details of the school (amazing read) and he also explains just how proud and encouraged he is by not only his own kids, but the kids he's adopted via this school.

I'm shocked he didn't throw a sub at George in there...but Bron just continues to shock us this summer.

LeCoach killer: already had a face to face with Luke and has mentioned him to the media today by name.

LeGM: doesn't want that recognition and continuously praises our ownership

LeYouth killer/stunter/shipper-outer: wasn't part of his terms to sign here and has now openly said he loves our youth (sorry Deng)

LeHostage negotiator: signed a 4 year deal on day 1 of free agency and not a 1+1 like he did Gilbert along with putting free agency through the lengthy "Decisions" of yesteryear

LeCoward: didn't stay in the lEast and didn't need a fellow allstar to team up with...he rather embraced the challenge without any assurances/guarantees

LeLllllloser: didn't allow his narcissism to get in the way in making a purely bball decision ...he instead embraced the villain role of leaving home again and even embraced a bit of crazy by coming to a Lakers team in the tough west devoid of a current allstar and cosigning all the headcases we brought in. The haters will bury this man all while burying us...but ain't no thing. Just don't mind us as we keep climbing to the top again...
