If I had to guess, probably have Lopez in the bank but are just waiting to close the Leonard trade.

two of the arguments seem founded in the idea that lonzo/kuz/BI are gone, and so far, that's not true. maybe it never will be?

Except now there is no prime Shaq or young Kobe available so I don't get your point. I want to watch these guys grow, develop and succeed as Lakers but would trade all of them without hesitation for that version of Shaq and Kobe. Our today's situation has very little to do with what happened then IMHO.

Bron was able do divide this community to some extent even before his arrival, it seems to me this process will not stop now that he's here, hope I'm wrong

So you're saying you would trade them ALL for 34, million miles on his body LBJ and Leonard. And then we have ONE left in a few years when LeBron's been finally whupped by Father Time. No. We need 2 or 3 that show star talent to be given just a couple more years to grow into it while learning from LBJ at least and that brings the next decade's sustainability.

Hey now, you be quiet!! Guys like Giannis and Anthony Davis will never be “gettable”. (That should be a word) For me those are the only guys I would trade any of our youth for, but seeing as those guys aren’t on the table or in rumors than doggone it I stand by my “I wouldn’t trade our guys for anyone stance”, LoL :D;)

We have never had young players to overhype, so this is new territory.

What about Alex Len? I've always thought he was a bit underrated. He can finish, isn't the worst passer either. I think he could be useful for double digit minutes a game.

:SadPau2: .... just went looking and found this. Zubac is this good and should be able to have a much higher ceiling once his s*** is fully together with his strength, conditioning and skills. He's going to get there. For someone and we have him now. IMO.

Imagine BI, Kuzma, Kawhi and Lebron. BI on Steph, Kawhi on Durant, Lebron on Klay and Kuzma on Draymond.

You now have equalizers at every position on defense.

On offense you can pound Steph and the rest to death to the point where they run out of gas, see 2016 NBA Finals.

It's a seriously interesting counter attack lineup if we have enough offense. Can definitely make it ugly if needed, and make them grind it out. Too bad we don't have Randle for Cousins once he's healthy, but hopefully our other options will be able to handle whatever level his play is at in the playoffs. (Thinking positively of course)

He's a cheap big body good for 10-15 min a game. Strictly post player though I think.
