They're gonna stretch Melo. They have to. That's nuts! 300M in payroll + tax for a team that was bounced in the 1st round???

They're going to be a load with Felton and Roberson back along with PG committed and the vibe between he and Westbrook and with Adams if everyone stays healthy.

Well, Felton is a load... like a two ton load! Dude looks like he went on a Krispy Kreme diet for about a decade.

Raymond Felton, with his 7ppg on 40% FG is the 4th Allstar that OKC needed to compete with GSW!:Noddingyes:

OKC went .583 without Roberson and .588 with him in arguably the easier part of the season. Oh yeah he's gonna make a difference.

The are so fooked it's not even fathomable. If we pick up Kawhi and maybe even if we don't we will beat them up this year badly.

You can't "waste " a year of the soon to be 34 Lebron James .

Moves will be made at the Feb deadline at worst .

Lakers will have tough choices to make .

I think not getting Kawhi at all costs will end up being a mistake

Some interesting nuggets in here when you get past the obvious hometown bias.

Biggest thing is that apparently Boogie wanted 15 mil from us and that’s why we declined. The Warriors deal was much lower than what he presented us.

Lol 15 million...really does sound like we could've had him for a price "close" to what the Warriors signed him with.

Cousins did not get an offer...Cousins wanted 15 mil...Cousins turned down 40 mil...

Who knows what really went down.

I get why OKC signed George after the debacle with not resigning Harden, but two wrongs don't make a right. They are nowhere near competing for a championship.

I’m originally from Louisiana. Duncan is solid. I believe that number for what it’s worth

I think that can be read two ways.

Either “I’m typically happy and so I’m happy staying in Portland”

OR “I’m typically happy and so I’d remain happy if I was traded to LA to play with Lebron”. But by publicly commenting about this, it’s more like “I would be so much happier if I was in LA”

I’m gonna choose to interpret it as the latter.

Trying to think of a way we could possibly get Lillard and Kawhi, but I’m not sure it’s possible. Maybe trade Deng and Lonzo for Lillard right now, and then Ingram and fillers (Rondo and Lance) for Kawhi at the deadline?

Happy is a state of mind.

But being happy in the sun is sooooo much easier vs under clouds and constant rainfall.

I really hope we are not gonna trade our young guys for anyone. We need to just resign Brook and call it a day.

There’s literally no one I would trade our guys for. Now that Julius is gone, it rings true even more. All these rumors need to stay rumors.

If we can get Kawhi without trading anyone, I’d rather wait. I feel like us pushing to get Kawhi is us being greedy and impatient. We missed on PG and Boogie, but it’s okay. We have a much better team from last year, that should and I believe will win at least 55 games.

I don’t want Wall, Lillard, or whoever else is being rumored to come here. And I don’t want Kawhi if we have to trade one or more of the core 4, when Kawhi will just come to us next year without us losing anyone. And let’s be real, even though his camp said he just wants to play in LA, the Clippers ain’t no real threat to get Kawhi. Even with Jerry West there.

It’s like this, if he goes to the Clippers then it would ever ring so true that stars literally don’t want to play with Lebron. He could just as easily say he is coming to play with Lebron. It’s a risk but if it secures and guarantees we keep “all” our guys, that’s a risk I’m happy to take. It’s not like we’re gonna suck again.
