Bring back Lopez, he actually would help the offense spread the floor for Lebron. Signing Howard would seem like we really do not care as much about the culture as they let on.

Just saying, you can’t be mad at the Lakers for their above moves and call them every “azz” in the NBA and then be mad we didn’t sign Cousins.

That’s contradicting yourself. Cousins is a known locker room cancer. Kings traded him, Pelicans didn’t even offer him a deal, teams with cap space didn’t want him in the locker room. I would have loved Boogie, but in fairness to the Lakers FO you can’t berate them for signing knuckleheads and then be mad they didn’t sign a knucklehead.

Kobe got a big deal after the achilles, Wes Matthews got a big deal after the achilles....

Demarcus Cousins got 5 million from a tax team after putting up insane numbers last year in his prime. Why is that?

I would've preferred Evans to Rondo, but now with Rondo here that Evans ship has sailed.

Stephenson too. I have to think Stephenson was a LeBron request for us to have moved so quickly while Evans was still on the board.

We're probably a 4th or 5th seed in the West as currently constructed unless Lonzo, Kuzma and Ingram all become MIP candidates.

    Who wants moar?

Quietly Ingram, assuming we dont trade him, is going to be the crucible in relieving LeBron in the halfcourt.

Players available that I’m still interested in that could contribute...

    Forwards - Evans, Ellington, LRMAM
    Centers - Lopez, Dwight*

*Contingent on him eating the largest piece of humble pie known to man, him not being an a** hat and getting in that defensive role Kobe wanted and no post ups.

I'd take Dwight back. But as you said Doc, our terms.

    We already have Rondo. :D

I cant do it with Dwight. In fact I want to offer him a contract and then retract it so we can keep someone on our summer league team.

For everyone complaining about how bad of character guys Stephenson and Rondo are, Howard seems to be the worst of the bunch...and there is actual evidence of him being a problem in pretty much every locker room he has been in.

Not my first choice or my second or my third or my fourth or my fifth but there is value in taking him on a minimum deal if he keeps his a** in line. Big if.

Hey this team is completely different from what we had when he played last time, so who knows. I wont lie, I kind of like this team, especially if we get Kawai. Defensive, athletic hard fighting scrappers. Some nut heads, though, lol. I feel a Rondo Howard lob connection to, with a roaming Off the ball LeBron, and the switching??? That's how you beat Golden State. Cavs in 16 and Rockets this year showed what you need to do to beat that team. From watching the finals this year, Cleveland had game 1 and 3, just wasn't talented enough. The same for last year, games 3 and 5 where winnable for them to. I trust this front office and they have a plan. Let's sit back and enjoy the ride back to relevance.

Dwight for 1 year at the MLE. Why not? Lebron will put his butt in line.
