    I was trying to get kid to nap in his room. Then I just heard my phone across the living room going crazy with twitter notifications. I remember thinking, that was quite a lot of notifications in a short time. I ran and picked up my phone, and let’s just say my kid never got to nap!

    I don't have a Twitter phone...did not see anything off the tube on the stair-master. Fast forward 6:00 PM PST, sat down at my PC and there it was! In full social media glory here at LB right between my naked, steaming eyes!

    I just happened to pick up my phone, check the LeBron thread, see Sirron’s Woj bomb gif like a minute after he posted it, see the tweet below it and that it wasn’t a fake Woj account, and react immediately. I really, really didn’t expect a LeBron announcement for a few days, but I did think it was only a matter of time when Windhorst started saying so. Too much smoke from every direction possible, dating back to rumors over a year ago.

    Was about to take a nap. Phone buzzed and saw the tweet. Immediately thought it was a meme or a hack. Kind of came out of nowhere. But pretty soon it was verified all over.

    Needless to say I did not take that nap...

    LOL. I have 400 photos roughly I need to optimize from the RAW files that I shot 2 weeks ago of a 50 minute ballet recital from Pasadena CC's balcony. About 4 minutes each to do in PS. So there's many hours ahead. But all day what am I doing but refreshing the screen here and making sure I don't miss any posts from y'all or shared tweets and news. We're all figuring LeBron's not going to announce until at least Tues the 3rd right before the holiday. So finally later in the afternoon I get into working on them and get 10 or so done.

    But just gotta check in and see the latest conversations you're having and BOOM I notice the LBJ thread has changed and like Weezy I see sirron's Woj Bomb!!! Have been here almost solid ever since then at my computer reading Lakersball instead and tossing my 5 cents in along the way. Just finally feeling good about the team's chances again and how strong we'll be, and feeling like there's a good chance we can get SA to accept a trade for Kawhi that doesn't include BI, Kuzma, Zo or Hart .... as Magic and Rob are playing this perfectly.

    In the Netherlands I was awake playing Player Unknown's battlegrounds and tabbed out to see why my messenger was going crazy...

    I'm moving back to the states finally in September. I need to get tickets in cities near where I'll be I want to witness this in person.

    I told a client/friend of mine that we would sign LeBron today. I left a message on his cell yesterday morning that his plane landed the night before in Van Nuys and that this was it, it was happening today. I didn't necessarily think it would get announced today, just that it would be finalized internally. I knew Magic would get the agreement.

    My cell rang earlier this evening and I saw his name on the screen. I knew right then it had happened and he was calling to tell me f*** y** (doesn't like Lebron) he wouldn't have returned my snarky message I'd left otherwise. So I didn't even pick up the call, I went straight to my computer and pulled it up.

    I am from Greece and I fell asleep just before the news broke. I didn't like LeBron but he is arguably the best player in the league and he will take us to the playoffs again.

    Best news for the Lakers in a long time.
