The year before Lebron came back to Cleveland in 2014, the Cavs were a young and talented 33 win team.

This Lakers team is in a similar position. But with a different twist. This team won't be able to just waltz it's way though the leastern conference.

We absolutely can’t forget this. The Cavs helped us get LeBron and gave us the pick that became Wagner. Mosgov and Russ essentially got us Kuz and Hart. Rob and Magic have done very, very well.

Like weezy said a couple post ago. He is in a Win/Win no matter what the Lakers do. He gets us to the playoffs he cements that legacy which has taken a huge hit, despite ESPN's attempt to make it not so, with all the Finals losses. What happens if he brings this team of loaded youngsters to the Finals? And wins? Yea, he may very well push his name right back into that GOAT convo for many. That ship sailed for me personally but he took the challenge. He wins because of it. I am still surprised he pulled the trigger.

BTW, I think GS would be in trouble with these boys especially if DC comes over. GS would have hell to pay with Jules, Cousins and Bron in that paint. I'd love to see Lopez stick around too. Add that to Ingram and Kuz playing off the ball. I think we could def challenge them.

Gotta say, after the Stern veto, Dwightmare, the Nash debacle, Mike Brown, D’amphony, Kobe’s twighlight years, this feels so good. The joy of sticking through it all as a fan. The beauty of sports. We’ve had a rough go fellas.

Feels even better that he left Gilbert in the dust.

Oh I am loving the idea of Gilbert sitting around watching the Lakers come back into relevance as the Cavs disappear into the lottery so much. Complaining about the CP3 trade and the comic sans letter don’t look like such smart moves now, do they.

Exactly. I wasn’t a big believer in karma before, but this is a prime example of it. No one deserves this more than Gilbert AND the Cavs. F*** Cleveland. Back to the abyss where you belong.

See ya Paulina. Hello Kawhi. Hold my beer this is how you force a trade to the team you want to play for.
