We're not screwed, but if we lay an egg again in FA, you have to legitimately ask yourselves, as a franchise, a city, what are we doing that is wrong?

simmons and embiid with lebron is a pretty damn good core

fultz still remains to be seen but he's obviously got the potential

Agreed. Kobe's gone so can't blame him. Mitch/Jim are gone. Both Magic and Rob have done an excellent job putting us in a position to score big this summer.

rob has one more contract to rid, but if the Lakers go goose eggs in FA, no sense in trading picks at that point to dump Deng. Lakers will need all the picks they need since no once will sign with them.

Trade one guy that sat out a whole year for another.

This is where Kawhi can separate himself from the Pauline narrative. He can absolutely refuse to report for the physical and deny that he will not re-up at no cost unless he's dealt to LA.

Also they can't fit Bron in with a max slot as of now. They have 28m cap after they sign their rookies unless they're in a Kawhi deal. Plus they have to dump Bayless's expiring to get to Brons 35m max. If they include Bayless's expiring in a Kawhi trade then they'll have Bron's max, but then the Spurs will also be looking to get off some of their contracts by dumping it on Philly in the trade.

Bryan's burners can't wait to go off on this one.

I'll just increase the respect level simply because he's finally playing in the tougher conference for once.

Given how much James puts stock in his stats and records...it would be a surprise too.

Sounds like he’d take major convincing to change from LA to elsewhere, but I’d be pretty fascinated by Embiid, Simmons, Lebron, and Kawhi.

If it is not us, then I'd take pleasure in them taking down Ainge and his crew in the East.

Is this that little wiener who borderline stalks players and claims to have “sources” or is he a legit reporter?

We’re not doing anything wrong. Don’t look at it like that.

We haven’t established ourselves as anything yet. Just an up and coming team of rookies and 2nd/3rd year players, which is literally over 60% of the NBA. If/when we make the playoffs this year with or without a star, then for 2019 and beyond you will begin to see the names lining up. Trust the real process...

    1) GS had not the Lakers sucess history so there wasn't any pressure to be great
    2) Our young core won't be as great as the GS one , quite far from it .

You are right that GS didn’t have the pressure of the fan base or the owners saying “win or bust” but overall the goal is the same regardless of the pressure or not. You don’t trade away high potential for instant success.

Wow, no faith in our guys huh. I think our guys will be better than GS, but hey that’s me.
