You can't ignore the comic sans Gilbert angle fellas....Bron held dude hostage for a reason. And I'm absolutely thrilled he did.

This so much. LeBron will not treat Jeannie like he treated Gilbert. I’m not saying we won’t have to adjust to his Diva moments. That’s part of the package. But Bron is making Gilbert suffer because he actually deserves it.

Bron is a new generation player who has taken his career by the horns. I don't blame him one bit. He's made mistakes, but I love that he is doing it his way.

But....... like Sirron said, we shouldn't expect him to change once he gets here.

pretty sure either could still get him via S&T, though houston's timing would be tricky due to tax/apron issues. but yeah, opting out is good for us.

houston pretty much can't sign him outright (unless they let paul walk), but that was never the plan, hence morey's "new math" comments.

Oh I don’t mind it, it’s just what he does. It’s a fact, that’s all I was saying, that he better not expect to do that here, or no thanks. I believe he held Miami hostage at the end too, Riley had to fly out to Vegas to talk to him, and all they ever did was put good teams around him and try to win. LeBron is Surly

If Kawhi is such a must for Bron to LA, Vegas doesn't seem to have gotten the memo.

When is the deadline for Lebron to decide on whether to opt in or out? I’ve heard Friday, but does that mean like midnight tonight or sometime in the day during Friday?

Everything I'm seeing just says June 29th. I dont see a time. I'm guessing that means 9 pm on Friday?

I expect we will hear something today or early tomorrow though.

edit- Here HJ. This is from Woj's Paul George tweet.
    So there's the deadline.

if houston's out of it, why is friday such a big deal?

*think it's because houston isn't out of it*

    Vegas disagrees.

It has more to do with: will LeBron give the Cavs one more year if he finds the situation in LA isn't quite enough for him to make the jump?

well, sure. but he can opt out and still go back on a 1+1 to the cavs. the opt in only matters to houston, imo. which is why i don't get the furor about tomorrow. i mean, houston's out of it....right?

    they're not

They are. And when he signs here, I expect you to celebrate and reveal your anti-jinx powers to the world.

I don't even care if KD comes, as long as Lebron reaching out to players to come to LA with him, thats all that matters.
