One kid and Randle is a hell of a haul. Seriously thats a great package for a disgruntled star with an injury complication. Look at the George package, that's a steal for them. Give them as many picks as it takes to take Deng too and give Rob a statue out front. :D

I'll raise you. 2 kids and Randle and "Seriously thats a great package for a disgruntled star with an injury complication." Zubac and Wagner are the kids along with 2 unprotected 1sts. That is a hell of a haul if Leonard is serious wanting to be here and have his camp be adamant, no nonsense or dancing around it like PG, and unequivocally say he will not re-sign anywhere but Los Angeles. Who is coming with a better offer in the face of that and what would it look like?

Maybe but Ingram did destroy Kahwi in one late season game in his rookie year

Combine this with not knowing just how healthy Leonard is and can be going forward (re-injure concerns too). We'd be making a mistake IMO, losing any of these guys

But Kawhi’s career stats are playing mostly as a complimentary player on a perennial contender.

Kuz and BI’s stats are on a lottery team where they had the green light and every opportunity to be the main guy. Different scenario.

But don’t get me wrong, I do love Kuz and Ingram and would hate it if we traded both of them.

BT: inflated stats on a team that places no threat to the postseason is kind of meaningless imho.

Plus, a healthy Kawhi absolutely obliterates those 2 on defense.

I understand the hesitancy, but jeez louis dreyfus y'all...this is an all defensive NBA teamer, 2x DPoY, Finals Mvp and regular season mvp runner-up we're talking about here.

Bringing him here alone is great... But to pair with Bron, would be Klutch... If this all falls into place, I feel bad for the San Andreas fault line, cause I'm sure most of us would collectively be doing our happy dance.

Those stats have to be taken into context.

Kawhi is a top 3 player when healthy.

Now, if your unsure of shedding assets for him because you're unsure of his health; that I can understand and the one potential issue we have to address should these trade rumors escalate more seriously.

    He's not a top3 player. He's "good" though ;)

I love our young guys. BI and Kuz especially. But if landing Kawhi essentially guarantees we also get LeBron and PG (and it sort of does), then i’d give up the farm for him. Spurs can name their price. Give me Kawhi+LeBron+PG and i’ll happily figure out the rest from there. No hesitation.

Yeah. If we’re going to end up with Lebron+PG+Kawhi then you make the deal you have to make and keep it moving. Ingram, Randle and picks to make that happen is worth it. Still got some young pieces and we’ve got 3 of the best players in the league.

how will you figure out deng if spurs dont take him? we wont have enough cap for pg even if deng is stretched....imagine what teams will charge to dump deng knowing it leads to us adding pg
