    I mean, it’s a reasonable assumption or guess to throw out if you’re Windhorst, because the media has been all pro-OKC, and like he says, we can’t tamper, so PG won’t have been “talking” to us. That said, if the reports from last summer are true, it was PG’s goal to be a Laker since then, so if he’s made up his mind already, he won’t have to have had a meeting with us to do so. Randle and he share an agent, he would know how we operate and if we want him, he knows what our roster looks like, he could easily have already decided he wanted to be a Laker matter what last summer or sooner and this last playoff loss cemented it.

    The ESPN tv special remains just plain weird to me though. I don’t think PG is really popular enough to warrant such a thing, as much as I like him and want him to be a Laker, and I don’t see who the audience is. My Laker bias would say a tv production like that feels like it would appeal to Laker fans, because we’re all around the world, and it’s a big deal if he comes here. If he’s remaining in OKC, I don’t see the point of the show, even if it’s what, 18 minutes in total? Like, oh boy, the 2nd option on a team that lost in the first round in a city I couldn’t pick out on a map is returning to that team, yay! Those OKC fans are sure to bring in huge ratings for those 6 minute blocks.

    don't like the lebron S&T option. i mean, i'll take him how i can get him, but he's the only beneficiary. opt-in and trade, and you're worried about him bolting next year. sign and trade and i'm sure he negotiates an option ASAP (after year 2). i'd rather just roll with the 4-year deal. plus, cleveland may ask for assets. what's cap hoarding for if you have add assets in a S&T?

    Yeah I gotta say the S&T only makes sense if we're dumping Deng and 2 firsts to them...then we open up another $17M in cap room and we now have leverage in Randle discussions OR we can use that $17M on DeMarcus Cousins for one year with team option on 2nd year (so it leaves the door open for Kawhi Leonard in 2019).

    Yes, it was SportsCenter. He said something like the media is taking this as a sign that PG might be returning to OKC if he’s made his decision already, because he obviously can’t have spoken to the Lakers yet.

    These guys really out here reaching for a tampering charge.

    He can't have picked LA because he cant talk to them? So he's only thought about LA for the last few days and weeks? He cant come to that decision naturally on his own without tampering?

    The media is going to do EVERYTHING THEY CAN to make sure PG and LeBron do not join the Lakers...

    It gets me nervous actually...in a good way.

    Dan is one of those "guys" that wrote a letter for our Chris Paul deal that was reneged by the league; that alone, I will never forget.

    The sequence of events that followed are horrific; we know most of them.

    And now, we are finally coming back from that nightmare. Been 7 darn years...Stern, Dan, Cuban; I dislike them all very much.

    And to think we had Stern at Jerry's funeral; that disgust me; still does to this day.

    I'll never forget, and when we get back on top; I am going to brag all about it.

    There’s no way they would, absolutely no way. They’re already stuck with the horrible contracts of Thompson and JR Smith, and an arguably overpaid Love. They wouldn’t take on Deng unless we were sending them like 2 or our best players, draft picks don’t get that done.
