    How apt that you used the Dwight Howard emoji, because I couldn’t stand that clown his entire time in a Lakers jersey, so glad it only lasted one year. So I know how you feel. But at least LeBron is a winner and not a self-proclaimed champion.

    Don’t make me defend LeBron man. :D 9 Finals appearances, 3 wins, that’s a winner. I didn’t say the greatest winner of all time, just a winner. Dwight got to the Finals one time and got teabagged by Kobe and Pau, to add to the literal one Kobe gave him years before.

    That’s a huge no on trading a “core guy” to dump Deng, because they pointed at Lonzo first, and that’s a hell no. Zubac and Bryant, sure, fine, no Zo, no Kuz, No Ingram, no Hart. If it means losing Zo, Kuz or Ingram to dump Deng, then I’m fine with “only” getting George and eating Deng’s salary one more season until he’s a big expiring next summer.

    First off I'd rather see PG and Kawhi with our youth because they could run with that group for a long time still. But it is looking SO much like LBJ is coming and if you just do the simple thinking process of what his decision is going to include it just seems we come out way ahead of anyone else including Cleveland.

    No matter what I hear about other destinations, they just seem like decoys or distractions. Wade just said the below and no matter how I look at it, I can't see how this means anything else besides LA for LeBron

    To me that comes across as a pre-emptive argument for people that later say "Why did LBJ go to LA instead of Philly or San Antonio?" or "LeBron sold out by going to LA" etc.

    That can only be LA. If it were Cleveland, then why use the words "finding the right place" if you are already there? The only other "lifestyle" possibility would be Miami due to his family's familiarity there but lets face it, they are in the worst financial position in the NBA and not getting out of it.

    LBJ lives in LA already in the off season and his family has familiarity with LA - Maverick Carter is in LA - that's LBJ's company - 'nuff said

    LA CAN AFFORD TO PAY HIM - that's a family-friendly decision.

    ..."Because basketball-wise he’s so great that he can bring along and take along whoever."

    Paul George or Chris Paul etc. He can bring who he wants. And LBJ going to say, Houston, is not a family-friendly decision. They do not have the means to take him in without dismantling their team. LA is the easy solution for LeBron to bring either of CP3 or PG, satisfy his family, work and lifestyle needs that NO other location including Cleveland can offer.

    And even as a strictly Basketball decision, if he is bringing a legit star with him like PG (which already is more than he has in Cleveland) we have assets with our youth that may be used to get a 3rd player or we can benefit from the fact that they are pretty damn good players on cheap contract whose bird rights we have.

    My main concern is what does LaVar Ball do when a bigger ego than his moves into town? Try and top it? The potential insanity is scary.
