well, if lebron does come, i think his plan would be to turn our young core into older allstars (via trade).

Home cooking baby. I wasn’t surprised, but it’s still weird when it’s that egregious

I would have been furious if that was the Lakers getting those calls against them.

I don't care how amazing he is playing .... I hate that thought. And it's easy to throw out there with his past history. But if he and Magic and Rob and Luke are looking truthfully at the huge bang for the young buck now talent we have on the roster and them improved for next year reasonably guaranteed .... what realistically and who involved could that deal look like? Afraid to ask. I just have faith that Magic and Rob are smarter than this.

I just want to hear the names first that are going to make sense for us to start blowing out our prime young talent. And you know me the chip is important but not the only thing. I'm a player fan too and these young guys are something. Who are we bringing in potentially that are going to be better collectively than 2 or more of our prime guys in even just 2 years time?

    Goodness.

I don't give a flying rats behind about underdogs. Cavs got hosed. those two clean deflection cost the Cavs 5 points in the time of the game where momentum was huge. I can't understand why these f***ing refs call fouls still on guesses.

This sums up perfectly how I feel about the overturned charging call...

Also the L2M report came out...

Turns out GHill shoulda been awarded another free throw on that miss...and guess whose feet were once again the culprit.

OK with Davis staying in NO who else besides Kawhi are you people :giggle: still eager to trade 2 of our prime young players for? That's got to be it right. No one is going to say Boogie. Now with who is left isn't it likely that those 2 of our young guys may have a chance to be better players than them in 2-3 years? This is what I mean with who are we talking about LeBron or the FO giving up 2 guys for?

Magic and Rob aren't going to be dictated to if they don't see it from a basketball perspective themselves. It's going to have to make sense. Who out there left is worth 2 of the prime young guys?

How about thinking it out first? Who is left that you would be willing to blow out 2 of our prime and economical young guys for? Who won't find himself not as good possibly in 2 years as these guys you get rid of?

This is my biggest fear. Although I did hear on one of the talking head shows (sorry I don't remember, but it was one of the major guys) say that "sauces" have told him that Lebron's camp has been told he will not have the control he has in Cleveland with the Lakers. I mean, sauces say what sauces say, but hopefully there's some truth to it. The fortunate thing is when Lebron went to Cleveland, it was to join Kyrie and (ultimately) Love. If he comes here, Paul George would be the Kyrie in the scenario and the youth we have and it's versatility is better than Love. Unless Kawhi is actually on the table, I don't see Lebron pushing the Lakers to trade away Lonzo/Kuz/Ingram for another all star caliber player because who is better than 2 of those three (cause it would likely take two)?

See, it isn't that hard to figure out; LOL. There is options and we have the assets to pull a major coup off this summer. I'd think another dymanic play-maker; who can shoot, defend, and take the load off an aging Lebron might be welcome and help us compete against a vulnerable GS team next season.

Savs, I actually see it as Ky (dude was 22 at the time of the team-up) being our young'ns (particularly Zo) while PG (27 y/o) is Love (was 26 at the time of the team-up).

I too do not think he will dictate who gets traded, but he's going to want to know our plans.

This is why KCP/RichP is so vital to this puzzle. Since he goes well into June playing the Finals, Bron took roughly 10 days into July to announce his previous "decisions". During that time, I suspect he touches base with his team-up options. RichP already gives us that in to expedite the process. And we got the ins to PG via Jules/Mintz.

I switched the comparison because PG is closer to Kyrie in immediate impact. Love took a season before he started to figure out his place on that team, much the same way our kids will probably take a year. In the end it's still sort of the same point. Our situation looks more appealing than the situation he was waling into with Cleveland, especially if we find a way to unload Deng and keep Randle in the mix.
