^^^ .... a "concern" but I think a minuscule concern with this front office. We have some bad a** successful people in the Basketball business and in the Art of the Deal.

Ha ha, they sold their souls for draft picks, you can’t go as far as they did. They went so far the league intervened and put a Colangelo in place and they’re changing the lottery rules because of them. I wouldn’t be surprised if Simmons leaves after his rookie deal to a better run franchise, Embiid is plagued by injury his entire career, and the trust the process thing ends in a few playoff appearances and not much else. They already lost or gave up on top picks along the way like MCW, Noel, and Okafor, and Fultz is a giant question mark.

The funny thing is, the young core and with one another superstar in his prime, that team would actually be his best shot at MULTIPLE winning titles. He wont win any in Cleveland. He could go to Philly but if he stays ball dominate, Ben Simmons becomes useless. Rockets? hmmm, maybe, BUT CP3 cant stay healthy. He could win one more, but with the Lakers he has the youth thats coming up, the star, if a few of the vets sign for less, he can catch MJ.

I think Lebron would be smart enough to know that Magic is in charge and just focus on the game. Who knows.

    Damn....Bron wants that hairline back....bad!

Instead, he should just hit up a barbershop, chose an 1 and get on with it already.

There’s no logical reason they shouldn’t, but they’re the Warriors, they take games (or at least 3 out of 4 quarters) off because they’re careless and play bored. So I can see the Cavs getting 1 or 2 games, especially if Iggy continues to sit.

Anybody think the Rockets let CP3 walk and just go after Lebron? It would certainly help with their salary cap and Chris is hardly ever healthy for the whole PO anyhow. Harden and Lebron can handle point guard duties.

    I'd be astounded.

I'm 99% sure Chris Paul had a wink-wink deal already in place the second he asked for a trade to Houston.

I don’t think they can “risk” it. Once you land a star, you don’t let them walk, you pay max even if it’s a risk, because it’s so hard to obtain a star. They were so close to beating the Warriors, probably do if Paul doesn’t get injured and I think they use that reasoning to keep him and try to get LeBron by other means. If they lose Paul, and then don’t land LeBron, they’re back 2 seasons ago all over again, and they can’t risk that.

I'm not going to go digging but it's probably not you then.

Exposed for playing against real competition. The Finals will expose that no team in the East belongs in the Finals. If the playoffs were bracketed by seeding and not by division, LLLLLebron would have been out in the 2nd round.

Maybe. but if it's LeBron and harden with half of CP3, they win it all.

I was skimming through so maybe I misread. I get sensitive when people bring up Kobe to defend LLLLLebron.

I’m calling it now. CP3 will never be healthy for a whole playoff series unless he misses significant time during the season. He should have let his knee heal when he was in NO vs letting them snip his meniscus.

Thanks to you, Cookie, tada, daloyallaker-brandon, Zen, LS85 and I guess Time and sirron for being great sports about this.

Bottomline is we have different means to get there but we all want LA to be title town again...so there's nothing but love... And occasional trolling.

Yeah I mentioned a couple weeks ago I remember there being reports of him having knee problems or a knee problem way back when he was in NO. And then he's playing all these years later.

I understand the TT and JR (Klutch angle), but that imho was petty leverage to get Gilbert to pay (literally and figuratively) after the whole Decision Letter incident. In a way, I'm happy Bron did that to Gilbert with the douche-clownery in his part of the CP3 nixing. I doubt he does this type of hostage negotiating with Jeanie, cause he has no reason to.

But in terms of him being the pseudoGM, I just don't buy it, cause he certainly sabotaged himself in the process this year if he was the dude pulling off all the deals. This is his own words on what happened after Griff was let go.
