But the 2008-2010 teams brought up as opposed to 2005-2006 or thereabouts? Gasol, Odom, Bynum, Fisher, Ariza, MWP and the Bench Mob?

Exactly... LT brings up a far more appropriate comparison. Those post-Shaq teams had LO and Phil as legit "help" for Kob.

    LO vs Love
    Kwame vs TT
    Mckie vs GHill
    Smush vs JR
    George/Slava vs Green
    JimJax vs Korver
Our young guys of Bynum, Sasha, Luke, RonnyT, Cook vs their young guys of Nance, JC, Hood, Osman

Ummmm what!? That's such an insult to the talent we had on those teams.

I don’t like LeBron at all, but I gotta disgree with this one. If this LeBron had prime Pau, Odom, Fisher, Bynum, Ariza, Farmar, and Shannon Brown, they’d roll right into the Finals. This Cavs team around LeBron currently is just not that good. Clarkson and Nance don’t look like the same players, Hood has gone from really solid to a garbage time player, Hill and Thompson only show up at home and even then not always, Korver is getting up there so he’s off and on, JR Smith has one good game a series maybe, and Green is often invisible. Only really Love shows any type of consistency as far as scoring in double figures, but that’s not saying much when it’s like 10 points, 14 points, 22 points in his best night. I’d take Kobe’s 2009 and 2010 roster over this Cavs roster every time. Only 2008 was a real overachievement as far as getting to the Finals that quick, because Ariza and Bynum were injured, and we still had to suffer through the Space Cadet.

Are you really going to insult Pau and Bynum and Odom like that? Let alone guys like Fisher, Ariza, Artest? Who is their Bynum? Who is their Odom?

The Cavs right now are similar to those 07-10 teams... if you take our 2-4th best players off of it.

Wow, this is so incorrect and incredibly disrespectful of all the players on those teams.

This simply isn't true and is an insult to our team in that period, I could agree if you said the 05-08 (before we got Pau).

Definitely. Those teams are far more like the one LeBron has now.

Let's ease up on CLF. The guy is solid. He might have been distracted or..... more likely..... someone hacked his Lakersball site?

That's really great. And people were wondering what he would do after retirement. Kobe is a storyteller, and he works hard. You know he will stay productive.

Thanks for at least hearing me out. I got blistered on here for that comment. You’d think Lebron was in the running for coming to LA in July or something :D
