    I give up.

I wish we could both be right, but it appears unlikely. For all of our sake, I hope it's me.

    Allegedly.

His supporting cast seemed to be doing just great against the 1 seed Raptors though, and everyone was sure in slurpy slurpy mode. Now he doesn't have enough help.

Wow, his plus minus was worse than double the next worse teammate? He just didn't have it even after so many days off?

But as you get older, it's harder to have consistent strong performances.

    Jus' sayin'

Except you're not promoting Woj, who although he is a sellout at least produces solid material, you're promoting the dregs of society and the types of people who don't deserve attention. Those people feed off negativity that you're helping them produce. Ignore them and they'll go away.

I’m just impartially posting things I find online

I also post positive things too. Sure there are throwing up emojis from time to time too, but I do post them.

    :Noddingyes:

But I do find them amusing even if I don’t always agree with them. I don’t always agree with anybody Though.

No I always appreciate your effort.

I just loathe the talking heads. I think they damage media, the fan experience, and in a macro sense society as a whole. They provide no actual content besides screaming at each other and bad insight, but they pass it off as an "expert" opinion.

When you post some random dummy on Twitter making a snarky comment, we all sort of laugh and move on. That's better and more truthful content than the people who work on those talking head shows. Their only existence is to piss people off and that's how they make a living. They literally make a living on the negativity of fandom. It's awful.

Moving to ESPN, taking Draftexpress with him, and then producing way less quality content.

I would say that the Lebron system has ruined Kevin Love. And it’s not a narrative or speculation or anything like that. The evidence is there for all to see. Before coming to Cleveland, Love was a monster on the rise. He was a 23/14 guy and you just knew he was getting better. He was a type of dude that you could have honestly built a team around. Soon as he gets to Cleveland his averages plummet and he is relegated to a 7’ Ray Allen. I honestly and genuinely feel bad for Love. He gets no credit when he plays well and often better than Lebron, but he gets all the blame when they lose. Interestingly enough, you notice none of the media outlets are saying anything about him because Lebron sucked so they can’t use Love as a scapegoat. :giggle:

The same thing happened to Bosh. In Toronto he was a 20/10 guy and was exclusively a post-type player. He gets to Miami and because of the Lebron system, he gets pulled away from the rim :speechless: to become a spot up shooter. His averages drop to about 17/8. Once Lebron leaves, he becomes a 20+ a game scorer again, unfortunately he never got his rebounding game back because that wasn’t his game and his mindset anymore. He had already been ruined.

That’s why I hate the narrative that he makes players better. He in fact does not. He may help “role players” get into better spots and he may allow them some credit if they “make their shots” but stars and superstars cannot play with Lebron. His system is geared for him to be the primary ball handler, everyone else has to fall in line. I said this before, but it’s no different from Westbrook’s system in OKC. Lebron is just a smarter and more efficient player than Russ.

Yeah you make a good point except for a couple things:

    1)
I'm sorry, what? Often better than LeBron? I think you'll have a difficult time finding games in which Love is better than LeBron, let alone often better than LeBron.

    2) Kyrie Irving suffered no major digression when LeBron came back to Cleveland. In fact, his points increased for the most part outside of his injury shortened season and in fact in 2017 he shot more than LeBron did. Wade's numbers stayed mostly consistent with LeBron until Wade's body started breaking down. So the notion that superstars "cant play with him" is patently false. He won 3 titles with another superstar. That's just flat out wrong and the evidence is clear.

    3) I agree that the "third" star takes a major backseat, but I think that's generally true of all big additions. Pau and Kobe meshed well, but Odom was forced to the bench. Bynum took a while to come through. Payton and Malone took major backseats in LA to Kobe and Shaq. There's only one ball for these guys in their primes. It was why I was so ecstatic about the Chris Paul (back then) acquisition because it meant Kobe taking less responsibility to create and freeing him which I believe would have added years/effectiveness to his career. It's also why I believe LeBron should come to LA. Having a team of youthful guys that'll allow him time to rest in the regular season will add to his career as he ages and his athleticism starts to fade.

Oh I’m sorry is my bias showing? :Brows: I knew that would ruffle some feathers. Honestly though I don’t believe Love plays better than Lebron, that would be silly, however, in this system he is restricted from having better “stats” than Lebron, which I do believe he can often get. Remember Game 2 of the Craptors series, Love had better numbers at one point than Lebron before Lebron started hitting those unnecessary fadeaway jumpers to “catch up” so to speak. Lebron finished with 40 something points, at least 10 or more of those points were unnecessary at that point in the game because the game was decided. Sure there was a lot of time left, but the game was over mentally for the Craptors. It was in fact the case of “this is my system and I’m going to shine in it, you played well Love, but this is my show bro.”

It’s funny I was gonna make mention of this because I knew someone was going to say it, but I figured it wasn’t actually relevant to my Love argument. When it comes to Kyrie I agree with you, but I am of the firm belief that as a rising star / superstar in this league, he realized that the Lebron system would limit his growth, because the system as constructed does not allow the freedom of any other star but Lebron to freely play their game. Of course there is no proof of this but I believe it’s less of “I want to be the man” and more of “I just want to be able to play better basketball”.

Sorry, Odom was not a star, so that really doesn’t apply to him. Payton had been in the league for 15 years before coming to LA and Malone had been in the league for like 18 years before joining LA, both had declined and were not stars or in their primes. Them taking a backseat to Shaq and Kobe is not a problem. A better example, although hypothetical would be if the Lakers had gotten Iverson or TMac and then one of those guys had to take the backseat to Shaq and Kobe. The difference with Lebron is that these guys “are” stars and they “are” in their primes and they “do” regress upon playing with him or in the case of Kyrie they find a way out of there.

Uhh...why do we care about his career? :KobeConfused: He has no ties to us, he can’t help us, he can just as easily do as you say somewhere else that has young guys that isn’t LA. Basically if that’s your only reason for him to come than that’s fairly hollow.
