Allen would be a perfect fit...with Denver. Personality wise, that is.

Ayton's college career done... Arizona surprise loss to Buffalo and by accounts wasn't that close too.

Yeah guess he's not ALL that quite yet. The Beast against him next year, after another summer of work, should be fun to watch.

Grayson Allen looked like he had a lot of potential during the tourney in his freshman season. Been a disappointment and a punk ever since.

    21. [IMG]LAKERS*: MITCHELL ROBINSON, C, CHALMETTE (LA) HS
(Note: Los Angeles owns Cleveland’s top-three protected first-round pick.)

    Height: 6'11" | Weight: 230 | Age: 19 | Last: 22

Stats: 25.7 PPG, 12.6 RPG, 6.0 BPG (2016–17 HS stats)

The Lakers have cleared the deck to pursue top free agents this summer, and acquiring this pick from the Cavs at the deadline was somewhat of a coup. They can angle for a future contributor in this spot, and will be in need of frontcourt help given the likelihood of Brook Lopez’s departure. Once Robinson gets into team workouts we’ll have a much better read on his situation, but he’s highly athletic and physically jumps off the page with a 7’3” wingspan. There have been questions about his feel for the game in the past, and taking a season off didn’t help. His draft range is wide, but his tools are clearly first-round caliber based on projectability.

    From SI Mock Draft...

Superb athlete but I have no idea on anything else. He took an entire year off to prep for the pros but nobody has seen him. What's his mentality? Does he have heart? What kind of competitor is he?

Damn, Jontay Porter's draft stock is rising. Just last month he was only predicted to go mid second round, now he's in the late 20's on NBADraft.net and up to #16 on Tankathon.com.

I took a look at Mitchell Robinson's profile, good frame, but just based on some highlight videos, he seems very stiff. Not fluid, reliant on his size, and not much to his game.

I still like this Devonte Graham kid out of Kansas. Posted about him a few pages back. Senior PG out of Kansas, I feel he can be a solid combo guard next to Hart off the bench.

Had a solid first tournament game:

Chandler Hutchinson is similar in the versatility that Kuzma showed in college. He's who I am targeting and really hope that he can pan out and be our draft pick from the reading and research I've heard on his game and potential.

Very good listen for more breakdown of 3 players we should target with our 1st Round pick and who we should target with our pick in the 2nd Round.

We can't afford any 1st round picks if doing 2 max FAs with hopefully small discounts to keep Randle and the best of our young talent already. That pick has to used with another pick and maybe Zubac or anyone but Hart and the Big 4 to move Deng. And then pray to gawd LeBron doesn't go Steve Nash on us and get seriously hurt. I hope he does do his usual 1 + 1 year his option type contract. And the draft is of course before free agency. Got to move Deng.

There are cap holds for the picks however which you can’t denounce.

Marvin Bagley reminds me a lot of Julius Randle.

He scores most of his points near the basket, pretty decent at driving into the lane for his size, is a lefty... not a great shooter. He is longer than Julius but Julius was more bulky when he came into the NBA.

He's shooting 38.6% from deep in college. I think he projects well as a PF. I won't call him a stretch 4 yet, I don't know if he has NBA depth, but he's an interesting pick. I think he's more of a project than people were hoping, but has a high ceiling and could be really great in an open system. He's an incredible athlete and has a decent feel. He's a great rebounder.

i need to see more of bagley to get a sense of hoop iq. if he's smart, he could be an allstar. if not, more of a derrick favors type.
