Travis Wear made a killing being one of Lonzo's targets during Summer League. Guess this could be insurance with Ingram being injured. Slide Kuz down to SF and have Wear slide into that back up 4.

He's interesting. A slightly better scorer than Hart but not as good defensively.

Is Kawhi maybe exhibiting questionable timing with his public appeal for more money from his shoe deal with what's going on this year with him? Maybe Markelle should be looking for an extension pretty soon as well. And look .... he's struggling to get past even the Denchor in that pic. Dude's getting a big head?

Kawhi Leonard has been top 3 in MVP voting the last two years & he'd like his shoe deal to reflect that. Story with @mikecwright on his stalled negotiations with Jordan brand & where he fits in the shoe industry amongst his peers.

It's interesting how the Spurs have heavily cultivated his image as a Tim Duncan replacement, but Kawhi seems to be rebelling against that.

    Very interesting.

Can’t watch video right now. What did he say? Or more specifically, did it sound sincere, and what makes it different than any other player saying “I want to be here”?

Chief, its just a sound byte of his intentions to come back and play this year. Doesn't know the timetable but he's aiming to be back soon.

In his very monotone, Duncan-esque, nonchalant way, Kawhi said he wanted to remain with the Spurs. Don't really know how to interpret it, but do to his personality, its really hard to read the dude.

Spurs are in a pickle here. They have the most difficult remaining schedule in the entire NBA and are on the verge of being out of the playoffs based on the current standings. They need Kwahi back ASAP to help get them over the hump. With that said they should be smart like it looks like they are in making sure he is 100% right before coming back. Even if it means missing the playoffs this year.

Rose seems to be a complete head case now. Must need the money as doesn't seem like he wants to play much.

I’m interested in giving Chris Bosh a thorough medical physical and minimum contract if he passes.

If he’s healthy and can regain form without the liability, that’s pretty intriguing....

    I hope you are kidding.

He is 34 years old and way too old to recover from a 3 year NBA absence. Without playing competitive basketball for so long, there is a snowballs chance in hell he would be able to make an impact in the NBA.

No way in hell would I give him a chance as a player, especially since he won't be 100% healthy anyway. As an assistant coach he might be a very good idea.
