A little validation of @Savory Griddles point from a neuroscientist/child psychiatrist.
It's not just that social media is a stressful, superficial, bullying place(it is!). The point is that children, babies, are being raised with screens instead of real human interaction. Things we take for granted are literally necessary for healthy development of the social emotional areas of the brain. Trauma isn't just when bad things happen. It's when good things don't happen( developmental necessities that is).

But how does this not apply to other developed countries like Australia, Japan, England, France...etc?

It's not that developed countries have screens, it's what cultures do with the screens and their children. Other developed countries value their relationships with their children more than the US, imo. Other countries have policies that support this as well such as more paid family leave for bonding and better access to children's mental mental health care. Also their gun polices are a big factor too.

One of the common links connecting these mass killers is psychiatric drugs. Almost all of them were taking or were weaning themselves off of psychiatric medication.

Here's an interesting interview by Joe Rogan with psychiatrist Kelly Brogan.

US citizens take antidepressents more than any other nation.

There isn't any absolute proof that these meds are entirely responsible for influencing these acts, but this issue rarely is discussed on mainstream media since Big Pharma is one of the biggest advertisers for news channels and news outlets.

I’m interested in seeing if there is data on the rate of antidepressant consumption between men and women. Reason being, these mass shooters are all men.

    But yea, still, guns...

Women on psychiatric drugs don't usually do mass shootings, but they have committed multiple murders.

Andrea Yates, who murdered her 5 children in 2001, was taking the medication Effexor, which lists "homicidal thoughts" as one of the rare side effects.

We should now arm the students to defend themselves from the teachers!

The teacher's name is Jesse Randal Davidson. What's interesting about this teacher is that he posted this "thoughts and prayers" meme on his facebook page after the Parkland shooting.

Here's another recent report by my favorite non-mainstream reporter Ben Swann, explaining the correlation between Psychotropic drugs, mass shootings, and the lack of coverage in mainstream media.

Nothing in the article mentions mental illness, there is however, a vague mention about how the Swiss are generally happy people compared to the U.S.

Anyways the cliff notes: basically gun ownership is tied to military service and well trained individuals/regulated licensing = no mass shootings.

While the excuses they give about military service, background checks, etc, are interesting...they left out the elephant in the room.

The USA has something Switzerland doesn't have. A drug war.

    LINK

If the Swiss treated drug addiction the way we do, they'd have the same issues with violent crime that we do. Whether it's prohibition in the 1920's or the drug war since the 1970's, these policies always result in increased violence overall.
