No man, we are not making the playoffs. They should just keep developing and playing hard. That's all we can ask for.
It wasn't far off after the really nice January stretch. We all would like to see them replicate that again. It is for their own good, the fanbase's gratification and to muck up the playoff seedings of those teams that will make it.
We'd have to go 18-5 to be over .500 on the year. Honestly at that point we might actually make the playoffs.
17-6 puts us at 42-40 (not that that changes the situation much). I had previously thought that 41-42 wins could get the 8 seed, but i'm starting to think it'll take closer to 45 wins. I'm not even worrying about playoffs, but I'd like to see this team push for 40 wins.

upper 30s would be really great, all things considered. if the team could crack .500, i'd start believing there was a chance george could come by himself. i seriously doubt that proposition, however.
This. There just isn't enough games left and too big of a gap between us and Utah and that's not even the team in the 8th seed at the moment. It's alright though. As long as we finish strong and make that impression count that is all that matters.
If we pull off 17-6 and make the playoffs, whoever ends up with that #1 seed would be pissed. Sure, they wouldn't lose, but they'd be wondering why the hell they worked for that #1 seed in order to take on a team that's hotter than anyone in the league.

I'm just happy this team is still technically in the playoff race this late in the season. My hopes were a 41 win season and at least fighting for the 8th spot till the end. That 3 game losing streak really made it difficult to try to sneak in the playoffs but im glad this season has become more enjoyable to watch and I really think we are only one all star (george) away from being a really good team
