It's abeer's fault. He said LBJ coming probably leaves us of the young guys with just Lonzo and whatever the King wanted. Well. It's abeer so I believed him. That would make me real sad.

OK. You always talk me down from my LBJ ledge and that's why I keep the maybe in my sig. I just hope you're right. I see so much talent in so many of these young guys and can see what special players they're going to become. They're our players. Now. A lot of them are unique type players. Think about the loss of any of them and then All Star careers on other teams.

I believe there's a decent-to-good shot we end up trading one of the young guys for a more established guy, but the contracts would have to match and that would be difficult, so what's better? Keeping the young guy who is talented as all hell or getting an underpaid veteran? I don't know. That's all really difficult to speculate on.

But there's no chance they're trading Ball and they'll likely still keep around guys like Nance and Hart who are so useful and so cheap. Why move them? They work so well in any system, they're literally perfect for guys like George and LeBron. You might move Ingram or Kuzma maybe, but only for a star so I'm not going to write it off completely, but I'll wait until that bridge gets here to cross it.

Probably Ingram between Ingram and Kuzma. Ingram is better and his contract is bigger. Having 3 really good role players for a combined 6 million dollars is invaluable.

Right but any return would be a guy of Kevin Love impact otherwise why bother, so I'm not going to get too upset at the mere thought of it. I'm sure the Cavs would like to have Wiggins more than Love today, but hey they won a title, so how can they really complain, right?

interesting question: i think i'd take love over wiggins. and wiggins is about to make as much or more money, too.

But for where they're about to be in a rebuild, I think Wiggins is maybe better for them. Not to mention they're severely lacking in athletic guys capable of defending right now. Either way, if we trade for a guy like Love (hopefully better) with one of our young kids I can live with that. Maybe you can trade Ingram/Deng for Marc Gasol or something, I don't know. But you end up with Ball/George/LeBron/Kuzma/Gasol with Nance and Hart off the bench. Add in Wade and some other ring chasers. That's a crazy good team.

There's a lot of different avenues forward though.

Curious what level of play for the rest of the season and playoffs is acceptable for him now after this apparent quitting or giving up acceptance of his team's problems? For Media types that write about him and fans of the game. Will be highly scrutinized going forward I would think.

IF James were to will this rag-tag, out of gas group that he has now to The Finals past Toronto and the best team record wise in their conference, he deserves the props. It will be nauseating love fest from the media doe however...

Actually Brian Windhorst has been very tough on him surprisingly (and deservedly).

There's a clip somewhere where Windhorst said that LeBron's effort level has been unacceptable lately.

How many more games until Lebron takes a mid season mini vacation to South Beach?

I did not see their game against Orlando but there were comments that James quit on them. Not a good look... Yet in a post-game interview, he did state that he has not and will keep fighting. The expected canned answers. Cleveland has become the story of the season. On the Players Only panel, Webber-O'Neal-Thomas did not think their current state of play will get them anywhere. Baron Davis however differed. That proverbial switch thing...

I did have a laugh as to how Greg Anthony was bashing them during the OKC-Golden State game. It got to the point where he said he was not trashing them but that they were doing it to themselves.

Lebron didn't score points and didn't have any rebounds in second half of Orlando game

...that is just unbelievable. Crazy. You'd think James would have attempted to stem the tide from Orlando. Was it a collective "don't give a ****" I wonder.

That "Montell Jordan couldn't help this team" comment? Priceless.
