Up 34 to 12 at the end of the 1st quarter, but the Cavs ended up being down 74 to 76 at the end of the 3rd...and then end up losing the game by that margin with Bron going Giannis on the baseline, but NOT getting away with it. Cleveland is in critical alert right now and Brony has already one foot out the door (ie bought a 2nd house in LA).

in the clip, bron gets burned, and he shouldn't point fingers for that...but he is right to ask what exactly love was doing there. he was in position to help and just sorta floated around.

lue's agenda comments are weird. who's got the agenda there? most guys have big money deals, and no way he wants to lock horns with lebron--he'd be fired yesterday, as he's sort of useless.

i just think this is a team that's bored. watch--they'll get the 3 seed and then just destroy folks in the playoffs.

A part of me believes that too abeer. I think this Cavs team has the proverbial light switch, but its to their benefit that the East ain't a buzzsaw like the West is.

Still from what we've seen so far and how IT may look with Bron/Love, I just can't see this team get to the Finals. If the Bucks make one more definitive move at the trade deadline, they'll only get tougher. Toronto and Boston appear to be the real thing. The Wiz are a wild card, but I just don't see them being the ones to give any serious threat to the Cavs. But them other 3 teams, should have the Cavs worried.

As for stars deflecting blame...come'n fam, we've seen Kobe do that a thousand times. Love is just LaBron's Sasha, Luke, Pau, etc. etc.

Right now it’s Boston and Toronto in the East Finals, and Golden State and Houston in the West.

CLE has a poor road record, and overall their team +/- is about 1. It’s way below true contenders. They need to flip a switch, or it’s not looking great for them.

    I’m totally ok with that.

I hope we talk to Bron as a FA, get him to say yes, but then decide to go another direction and say no.

It would just make me smile really big. Possibly for years.

He also just played 40 minutes, had the worst +/- of the starters, and Calderon played 33 minutes with both Wade and Thomas sitting.

All good/bad signs depending what you are rooting for.

I could go you another scenario in hoping he picks up an injury this year and has to shut down and start rehabbing which would cut some of his salary leverage out from underneath him. Something to give Magic and Rob a more clear upper hand in not caving in to demands. Maybe incentive clauses having to be written into the king's contract and he can't demand his own coach because it won't even be clear if he can start the season on time or with the old same effectiveness. Yeah I said it.

I hope PG if our first priority and signing in that case and then go from there.

At least 3 players are on record as calling Kobe an a-hole, Rondo, Nash, and Durant, and I think Kobe accepts that with pride. :D The difference between Kobe and LeBron from the way I compared them, was Kobe didn’t blame everyone else but himself when the Lakers lost in the playoffs or Finals, he put it on himself. Kobe also didn’t refer to himself in the 3rd person all the time as far as I can remember.

All this stuff with Lebron is exactly why I don't let him come in here and start dictating who the coach is, who to trade, who to bring in, etc. We have a young core of Ingram, Ball and Kuzma that will reach their primes AFTER Lebron has retired. I don't want him to leave our roster in shambles after he leaves with Ingram and Kuzma trying to get a bunch of scrubs into the playoffs.

i really want to hear the full story behind irving leaving cleveland. i feel like it would sway me definitively on how much i want lebron in la. i lean towards "do want, at almost any cost", but if i learned that a) he drove irving out, or b) he did nothing to try to keep him after he asked out, it would concern me.

and if there are chemistry problems in cleveland, that's also a concern, as lebron got basically everything he wanted the last three years there.

i will say that i agree with lebron if he's annoyed that cleveland is sitting on the bkn pick (provided it has the value on the trade market that some suggest, which i'm not sure about). he's going to be exiting his prime soon, and the 9th pick in next year's draft is going to do s*** for him in terms of winning now.

btw, if cleveland does sit on the pick, i start feeling like getting lebron is a real possibility, even though i'd still think houston gets him.

We already see the effects of things he does on their current roster. Rumors are the Cavs will try to make a move before the deadline, and that they would like to move Thompson, but who the hell wants Thompson. Let’s be real, Thomson got a big deal BECAUSE of LeBron. Dude is making 16.4 mil and averaging 5 and 6. That’s why you don’t make moves like that to appease LeBron, because if he walks you’re stuck with Thompson, and Smith, these overpaid players that aren’t that good and you’re screwed. If LeBron comes, YOU dictacte what players go around him unless players he wants can be had cheap.

LLLLLebron shot 2-8 on free throws tonight, and they almost lost a 20 point lead but hung on to stop a 4 game losing streak.

It got me looking at his stats to see if he was sucking in any particular area, and he's at 75% on the year for FT's.

    BUT....

He stands at nearly 30,000 points right now.

    1. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar* 38387
    2. Karl Malone* 36928
    3. Kobe Bryant 33643
    4. Michael Jordan* 32292
    5. Wilt Chamberlain* 31419
    6. Dirk Nowitzki 30808
    7. Julius Erving* 30026
    8. LeBron James 29975

It's reasonable to think he'll score another 800 this season if he misses a few games or take a few off before the playoffs.
so, rounding up to 30,800 for argument sake

Since Dirk is active and hobbling along, he won't catch him this year, but he'll move past Julius Irving for 7 place all time. Pretty impressive for a guy whose biggest gift is not scoring, but his all around game.

Since he hasn't show signs of slowing down much, it's interesting to do what we used to do with Kobe and project if he can become the game's All Time Leading scorer. If he kept up that pace of 2000 points a year (80 games x 25 ppg), he is literally 4 years away from Passing Kareem.

He is two years away from passing Kobe.

Just trying to be fair and unbiased, and what is deserving of praise is deserving of praise.

However, lose the nasty Harden beard, and quit being a douche. And don't come to LA unless you tell Lavar to shut it. And bring another star. And keep your nose out of being a GM. You've proven to suck at it. That is all, carry on.

....while I throw up. I feel so dirty.
