All right, last night was a tough loss to swallow. The crowd was hyped, Kobe was in the house and got the awesome jersey retirement, KD and Klay were both struggling percentage-wise and we fought hard, tied up and got it once again to OT against the champs. We were dying for the W, but the end of the game the Warriors got it done and we didn't. Still, there were a lot of things to be optimistic about, primarily that we have taken these guys to OT twice now. We are young. We need a great FA or two to put us over the top this summer. But we're getting there.

That's two moral victories the past couple of weeks. I'm sticking by my prediction. We'd be the most moral team this season.

Ill take it.. If you're Lebron and PG, coming over here you would literally cant help but think theyd make us instant title contenders. Lonzo,BI,Kuz,Hart,Zu,Bryant,Nance, might be a chance to keep Randle...Thats a serious young with potential surrounding cast .

Nice win! Great revenge game especially after getting worked by this team last time. I was sort of afraid we were gonna be looking at potentially a 5 or so losing streak. Instead we end up ending Houston’s streak. And I took great satisfaction in listening to the Houston announcers complaining about the calls that always seem to go against us. All I’ll say is....you’ll get over it.

Best win of the season. How can you not love this. And Kuzma is a special player. Haven't seen that kind of offense from a rookie since... Kobe?

We won despite several numbers that would say we lost.

The floor for this team has gotten much higher. Just keep doing what they are doing. Then next year, boom!

Man, it just feels like we should have more wins than we do. A very good thing. Kids are fighting night in and out, confidence and growth from Lonzo, Kuz, and BI.

We’re competing and that’s all we can really ask for against the top teams in the league. Swap out a few role players, add another star, and you got yourself a team.

I keep making this reference, but it feels like we are now that up and coming, scrappy Warriors team, playing the reigning Champs, Lakers, and saying, give them another 3-4 years, don’t turn your back on them.

Holy smokes. What a stunning victory tonight. Beat the hottest team in the NBA with a 14 game win streak in their house no less. We put it to them hard that first quarter and a half. You knew they'd start firing back, but we weathered the storm and closed them out down the stretch. Best road victory of the season thus far. Impressive.

Why comfort ourselves with moral when we can have the actual?

Contact Mr. Walton. Freakin Luke stole 4-5 games from us easily...

Surprising win but I'll take it after a tough loss. The Lakers have been battling the best teams in the NBA recently and have kept their own, despite KCP missing games. I'll take it.

    We should have 3 more wins ( Warriors , Clippers , Knicks ) .

Let's stop giving games away because a playoff push isn't out of the question with the way we are improving and the weaknesses of the current 6th-8th West teams.

I think a 0.50 team is what/who the likes of the Pels/Blazers/even Nuggets are , it is reachable for us

4 really if you count both overtime games against the Warriors. I too like our chances. At the moment we’re only 5 wins back from the 5th spot, 2 losses back from the 8th spot. If we can get at the very least 2 more wins, maybe 3 before the end of the year, we can try to make up some ground in January. Just gotta stay consistent, keep competing.

true, but we've also been remarkably healthy, which can't last given the experience and physical frame of our top players (ball, ingram, kuzma, in particular). i was kind of hoping that if the injury bug struck that it would have been in the last three weeks (as opposed to when the schedule lightens up).

anyway, this is the optimism thread: i'm pretty happy with how things have gone during this tough stretch. the record is about what i expected (bad), but they've been competing and haven't quit like they did last year during a similar stretch.

We ended HOU's winning streak, time to end another one. This time, it's the defending champion's.
