I don't want to overpay either, but if its the price to get Lebron the front office may bite.

I can see us giving him a shot. I wouldn't be too upset as long as the price is right.

If we bring him and let Randle go there will be a revolt on this site though.

Tis the season for Noel rumors....

LaBron wants NoeL??? And here I thought he was aLLLLL about them. (That ones for @sirronstuff ).

Seriously tho, Noel makes complete sense as Randle/BLo insurance and leveraging their future contracts here (if they are in fact part of the plans). If not, then I like Noel strictly cause he knows he's a defensive guy and won't demand to be showcased as an offensive one leaving that to LaBron, George and BI.

Have Mintz agree to assist in a S&T of Randle for PG, who also opts into his player option. Trade Zu, JC and Ennis for Noel/DHarris/McRoberts. Throw Deng into one of those deals hoping it will stick. Otherwise....

Stretch Deng (7.4M) + PG's PO (21M) + Noel cap hold (8M) = just north of $45M in cap to throw at LaBron and then with whatever remains give to Noel in an extension (ideally 15-17M). We also gain George's bird rights in trading for him and we throw a max extension at him in 2019.

Go grab a hotdog and enjoy the title run.

Btw, cLLLLLutch (this ones for @therealdeal ) ;)

I’m not signing or trading for Noel if that’s what it takes to get LeBron, no way. Not getting LeBron any players he wants for money they don’t deserve and allowing him to dictate the roster here. If that turns out to be true I move onto Paul George and someone else.

We aren't the Cavs or Heat, you do not come here and be player/coach/gm.
Now I do like Noel's skill set for what we are doing, a long athletic defensive guy. But I'm not going to do it to appease Lebron.

    Superlike.

We can't let LeBron do to us what he is about to do to the Cavs (if he leaves). Thompson, JR Smith...so many horrible contracts. Maybe we do just PG13. Him alone makes us a playoff team next season.

I'd have him for a workout or something and if it was for the minimum, then I'm not that concerned.

But I'm not paying a new Tristan Thompson "Tristan Thompson" money.

hmmm...i often agree with you, but i'm going to say: i don't take noel UNLESS it's to appease lebron. this the second club to get a good look at him and essentially tell him to kick rocks. he doesn't care about the right things. if his head was on straight, he's a more talented capela, but i think it's pretty clear he doesn't really want this.

The problem is when Lebron gets his guys, its always them getting a lot more money than they are worth. Look at Tristan Thompson and JR Smith.

I don't want more garbage/sewage on this team... Dung clogging our septic tank is enough for this lifetime

Their conclusion on KCP makes the least amount of sense. We're going to trade him for salary, but we're saving for this summer, but... I don't know?

I could see us including KCP in a trade to land one of the stars we're courting right now (Cousins or George) if their seasons devolve. Other than that, I'm not sure we trade him unless someone is offering a 1st for him.

It would be asking a lot of Hart to expect performance's like last night on a routine basis, but we didn't skip a beat without KCP. I like the guy and I appreciate his hustle as he definitely has made key defensive plays late in games, but he takes a lot of bad shots. He gets tunnel vision and we can all see when he's about to make a terrible decision. I don't dislike KCP but I would trade him for a 1st as that could be more valuable in trade scenarios for the big fish.

What yall think about moving KCP for a 1st/2nd as ammo incase we can make another deal happen down the road?

The goal should be 1 Max Player - a lot of "stars" prefer to play with each other nowadays, but I think PG takes the leap next year and wants the responsibility of being "the man" on this team.

    I think he's our guy...
