It was my impression that he wanted out anyway though after the way we'd jerked him around.

I think that's right. But I got the sense that he was hoping the Lakers would offer him a sweetheart deal and make him feel wanted.

With all the friends of the fairer sex Pau hangs out with he still needed to feel wanted?

^^^ Top 4 rows make the point of the (reached for :SadPau2:) humor. After that too many not-fairer-sex pics.

If he is cheap enough, like $10-12 million, I would take him.

I'd want him to be cheaper than that.

This is his second home, a place where players usually thrive and feel empowered and he's still acting like a chump.

right. 10-12 on a one-year deal after striking out in FA. if he wants multi-year, i'm paying half MLE. not impressed with his approach and professionalism.

Remember that Schwartz also repped LO and currently reps BI. So if the Lakers are interested, we do have an in. Other clients that he represents who have an expiring deal are: MCW (recall that the Cats are rumored to be interested in JC), Noah Vonleh (Portland also rumored to be interested in JC), Devin Harris (can provide a vet PG influence for Zo) and Joe Johnson (who can provide some scoring from outside).

I like DeAndre in what he can offer for the starting lineup. Essentially Nance is supposed to be our defensive frontline player that can clear out space for BLo to operate offensively. Bring in DeAndre, and Nance is no longer a necessity as a starter. He becomes our "lob" guy for a guy like Zo who's always looking for it. Meanwhile you can look at Jules (barring he's not part of the trade package) as your offensive frontline player to put next to DeAndre in the starting lineup. DeAndre also has some experience playing with another offensive minded frontline player in Blake, so that pairing should work nicely on offensive...but will look amazing on defense.

If DeAndre isn't a target, then hopefully LA can look to piggy back on any potential deal or look to move pieces in any deal that dominoes off a DeAndre deal.

I hate DJ's personality but he fits what we want to do more than BroLo. Sure BroLo can stretch the floor but he doesn't do it well. DJ is a rim protector, double digit rebounder and a lob partner for Lonzo.

Start DJ with Kuzma and bring Nance/Randle off the bench (even though that pairing doesn't work so well).

If I’m not mistaken, Jordan has player option for next year. I’m not trading for him and chancing him opting into a 24 million dollar year. Sure, he can opt out, but I’m not risking it. Lopez sucks, but he’s a big expiring contract, I can’t see us moving him unless it’s for a star we want long term.

That's about as low a value as you could think of for Okafor, but I believe Booker is an expiring deal.

I am a bit interested in Sean Kilpatrick.

As a starter last year Kilpatrick averaged 15.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3 assists. He shot 37% from deep.
