I don't think Nance would have helped.

Honestly, Nance being out is a blessing because Kuz is getting more minutes and starting. No offense to Larry, but Kuz is already miles ahead of both Larry AND Randle in terms of effectiveness on the court.

I'm optimistic we can attract at least one A List Free Agent next Summer.

I'm admittedly a little bitter we don't have Simmons/Embiid's talent on the floor, but honestly those two are about as likable as a banana someone stepped on. I enjoy watching Ingram and Ball and Kuzma and I enjoy rooting for them. Small consolation after a game like last night, I know, but still it's a straw to grasp on. Not to mention tomorrow Embiid's foot could (and will likely) explode.

Also keep in mind guys, what you saw last night was the equivalent of those parents who hold their kids back a year (in Embiid's case 3 years) so that they're physically more mature than the rest of the class. Simmons is still young at 21 and Embiid is still young at 23, but they're both older and more physically mature than Ingram and Ball at 20 years old (Ball just turned 20). As our guys fill out, they'll improve. It'll be alright.

I'm with @alam1108 though: this is the kind of game where someone like Paul George could look at this and say, "well if I was there, they'd have had some offense down the stretch" or "I could have helped more defensively on that one" or "they're all getting really close to being good". If we can clear the requisite money, these are the games where good seeds can be planted.

Good game by Philly tonight, but lets pump the brakes on the #process. Embiid could be special, but the process took nearly 2.5 years for it to come to this and they haven't really done s*** yet. Zo just turned 20 and BIs been 20 for all of 2 months...Chill fam. They'll get there but let's hope they stay healthy and improve. If you look at Philly's proc3ss of Joel, Benny and Marky-mark, all them dudes have a red inked medical file.

If Embiid just gets 40 we probs win the game... Considering the circumstances and bad defensive matchups against Embiid, im not worried. I bet you money if we had Demarcus by himself we easily win the game.

It always takes a crazy career game or two from someone to beat us and that's kinda sad with us in rebuild mode for another year.

They did well I think in this last draft:
2017- De'Aaron Fox, Justin Jackson, Harry Giles

Also in 2016 their 1sts were actually Georgio Papagiannis, Skal Labissiere, and Malachi Richardson

They definitely don't have the same caliber scouting department that we do.

This is where I prefer George over James in a way... He'll get you that key bucket when needed especially in half court sets. James as great as he is would likely facilitate in such a scenario but is better on the open floor. George could also draw doubles freeing Ingram or Kuzma if either was on the floor with him, maybe even both.

Nothing really against James but George AND Cousins if possible...then let's kick out the jams!

And it’s not like we got blown out by Philly. Still was a relatively winnable game especially if we hit a few more threes which is where PG can help.

Looks like PHO shot well and their bench were their deciding factors in us losing. Oh well..Moving on. Glad to see Lonzo being active to finish the game. We gotta oray shooting comes for EVERYONE.

Stay patient guys. All good. Take things one game at a time and try to enjoy the games/player development.

They had 13 3's compared to our 7. 18 points is nothing to sneeze at. Thats game right there.

Or you could have LeBron and George which is my preference and would make us immediate competitors.

Losses like last night don't help, but there's a lot of season to go and Kuzma/Ball/Ingram look like solid young pieces.

If you keep those 3, where do George and LLLLL fit in though?

None of them are a Center, and none are legit power forwards either. Kuzma is getting abused on defense by bigger stronger players. If he doesn't get the rock enough to make them pay, he'll be guarding those types of players all game. Adding those two to the mix means he won't be seeing the ball much to make that happen.

And as much as DMC is a complete hmmmm as far as being able to contribute to a winner, he's younger (As is PG), and seems to be a better long term fit. And he'll abuse people in the paint, and we don't have anyone who can do that right now. Also hits the 3.

    George at SG. One down.

I vote PG and Boogie. Two down. Perfect fits.....Eh? Let's see a show of hands!

Eff BroLo used to be in my sig. What's he done for me lately. I'd definitely get damp over PG and Boogie. Do it Rob!

Someone goes to the bench. So what?

Give me some actually talent instead of watching what we're looking at now. And of course there's no more talented player than LeBron in FA.

    I guess I look at those Kuzma/Ball/Ingram

and feel like they are all NBA starters with bright futures. Not interested in stunting them for an ill fitting piece when another need can be met better

PG is young / in his prime. Boogie is young / in his prime. They're both big name stars and "studs" to attract other stars in years to come. LBJ is up there in years post roid usage (allegedly). I'd vote PG and Boogie instead.
