    Did he mean 45 misses?

Almost, but missed it by 5 points....Brook it.

Now now...you have Mozgov. How can you miss Lopez?

    Getting you cable dollars worth.

    Another loss it is.

They do call them free for a reason.

Your players need knee pads so they don’t get bruises because those types of passes are going to be there all year.

Just for tonight but it was a welcomed site.

He thinks his first name is Russell and he wears an OKC jersey.

    BIG TIME, suckers.

I’m pretty sure he’s breathing...or he could be dead like Deng.

Coach:umm...where have I seen that Lopez name?

He’s just trying to take over the job that Lopez did.

    Kupchak would not be happy.

Yes that 16 million does hurt.

Nice doing business with you. We have another awesome player we might be willing to part with. His name is Deng.

    Only missing the ski mask.

At least he’s not grabbing players in their private parts.

Gosh, 1 win in 2 months. How’s that even possible?

What that smoking hot 23% from 3 they shot didn’t make you happy?

    The End....

Hey you shot a better percentage then we did from the line.

Our scouts earn their paychecks and then some.

    We liked it.

Nets losing and saving the country building cost at the same time.

    Chucker

Lots of Russ hate on their game thread.

Keep looking. Russ is many things but franchise player is not one of them.

Let’s hope he was for both of our sakes.

Hearing the same complaints from another team as we had for two years makes me feel good. Validates our opinions in a way.

And also validates that Russell looks exactly the same to me as he did here, he just has the ball more often. The fact that the national media wants to make him "better" now is based entirely on an anti-Laker bias because this is the exact same kid we had.

No not at all. I never understood this whole scenario. Someone said a few weeks ago that he was run off and I made a point to say then I didn't think that was the case at all. There were differences of opinion on the wisdom of doing that trade then with what it accomplished with Moz's contract being gone and as well importantly what came back to us for this season and going forward. Don't we have differences of opinion ALL the time around here? He was so attached to DLO (it seemed) that he let it get to him. It also seemed (to me) that his defense of his position of hating the trade and losing DLO went not logically too far considering the quality of the player in Lopez that we got back for this all important season to attract the eyes hopefully of premier FAs. And he was unimpressed about Kuzma when I asked him. Seemed like he was so down about Russell he wasn't willing to see the tremendous upside in any of the deal. Anyway to take it that hard over losing DLO to just say eff it I'm out of here and just leave us seems like a bad choice. We lose and he loses, (I guess) since the Lakers will have at the very least a much more enjoyable team to root for this year (compared to BK certainly) and of course he's been a long time Laker fan. All over DLO? I wish to heck he would come back.

How about a thread someone can give a good name to that's like the Lakers' pleas to Dwight to "STAY" with the huge banner hanging .... but is smart instead in finding ways to tell Travis we want him back. We miss him. It'd all be true right? Maybe we get lucky and he spots it or one of the Mods (or all) who was/were especially close with him simply send him an email to formally say it's there.

Bring @trodgers back. I miss him. No homo.

@trodgers was right. We shouldn't have traded Russell. We had the 28th pick too, so we still would have probably taken Kuzma (unless NJ had their eye on him, which I doubt).

We traded him too early IMO. We probably could have made that trade at any point, but whatever. It's done now.

BK had Kuzma in for a tryout wasn't that reported as fact? So everyone should just stop with that we could have had him later. You don't know that and he'd worked out.

All that is not the point. This kind of has been a thing with me. I would love to have trodgers back. All of us would. He can still be the biggest DLO knowledgeable fan out there and still come back home in here. I hope it happens. That idea hit me while this little communication has been going on. Just put a thread up that's got a good heart with its title and people can simply tell him why you'd hope he comes back or smack him to see it your way. Or don't. Why not? Relationships go through this all the time don't they?

No he wasn’t. Saying we still would’ve gotten Kuzma is pure speculation. Nobody can say with any certainty that the Lakers still would’ve been able to draft him considering the Nets had him in for a workout and clearly had some level of interest in him. Fact is we got a kid who looks like a potential star and an All Star caliber center for an albatross of a contract and Russell who yeah he has talent, but has yet to have the consistent production to warrant the #2 selection.

You say that like it bolsters the argument that it was a fact he would have been there where we took Hart. Which is not supported as being certain at all or am I interpreting it wrong?

Of course teams passed on him and that's why he's being noticed now all over the NBA as in the running for ....or having locked up "steal of the draft". And if we'd not had the pick from BK and let's say hypothetically we were able to take Kuzma in Hart's position, like that would be a positive thing we didn't have Hart now? Which would not be a smart thing to say with all the other good that came from this trade as well. IMO.
