I think Jansen hasn't pitched as bad as it has been for him. If the ump squeezes him then I will be worried for the 6 outs. If he can get through this 8th unscathed I believe he will close it out. He is rested but yes we have Wood and Kershaw both ready to save him

Damn Taylor got unlucky but gets the runner to 2nd.

Seagar is looking like Pedro Serano with these curve balls.

Someone needs to tell Seager they are going to pound him in there and they are throwing balls. Make them throw him a strike. JT is still way over due

Turner walks. Bellinger can break it open against a guy who hasn't pitched in the WS.

I'm going to add to this....

This series had to go 7. This is probably the best playoff baseball series I have witnessed in my life time. The back and fourth. The racing heart plays. The ball bouncing one way and then the other for each team. The great guys not hitting but making amazing plays on defense. The little guys getting major hits like Joc and culberson doing damage. I know some of the older heads might know some better series and it is easy to be caught in the moment but I'd put this series up with the LA Kings vs Blackhawks in 2014, Lakers vs Blazers in 00/01, Lakers vs C Bags 2010... just amazing. Hats off to both these teams

Great collective pitching by Hill and the bullpen and timely hits from the offense won the game for us. We have momentum heading into game 7.

Man, I really hope Yu can redeem himself and take charge early. Then you have Wood, Kershaw, Maeda there to back him up.

Bellinger needs to stop swinging for the fences again. 4 strikeouts won't do it Game 7. JT needs to stop chasing every pitch and getting down in count, more patience. Puig needs to bring his energy because we'll need every bit of it.

    This is it folks.

I think Yu has much greater motivation for tomorrow. He handled the dumb move by the houston dude perfectly. Initially I was pissed that the league didn't suspend him during the WS but we win this all there are no excuses that anyone wasnt healthy, not ready, not 100%. Yu can start it and the others can close it. They will be hyped. Im excited for tomorrow ya'll

To me, this isn't the greatest series ever because for half the World Series we weren't watching baseball we were watching a home run derby. Part of baseball is tremendous pitching and both teams lost that in Houston. It's not fun to me watching guys just tee off all game long, it's why I don't enjoy the All-Star game. Watching a pitching duel may not be sexy to the average fan, but boy is it something when you got a guy like Verlander matching wits with every single at bat. The first at bat with Verlander and Pederson was extraordinarily dramatic. I loved it.

I will say this is the most anxious I've ever been for any team. I don't know the last time two teams were so evenly matched on this stage. Even games that we've lost have been extremely close. We may not hit home runs the way they do, but we're for sure able to battle at bats like nobody else in the league.

Last night was a game where I hated every move that Roberts made, but it worked out perfectly. I liked that he stuck it out with Hill as far as he could. I hated bringing in Morrow. I didn't like bringing in Maeda. I didn't like bringing in Utley. I hated bringing in Kenley early. All of those moves worked out perfectly though and that's why he's the manager and I'm not.

If the weather holds up and the breaking pitches are back on tonight, I'm totally fine with Yu being in on the mound. I think he'll come back more focused this time around. Even so, we'll have Wood and Kershaw in the pen ready to pick up the ball if need be for an inning or two. Tonight is going to be an epic night win or lose.

I thought Yu's handling of that situation was amazing and should be the standard for which we approach racial issues. He didn't get upset, he was understanding, and once everyone realized it was something that shouldn't be done, everyone can move on positively.

That being said, I thought baseball handled it poorly. At first I wasn't in favor of suspending him a game, but retrospectively it would have been the right move. By delaying the suspension, baseball is basically saying it's okay to be racist as long as you're good. We'll give you a slap in the wrist in meaningless games. I don't know if you saw the Houston fans who were making the same racist gesture at the game the next day, but that's the sort of behavior you encourage when you don't put an adamant stop to it.

Not to mention, if you're Roberts why not go nuts with it? Demand he gets suspended! We could use the edge. :D Gurriel has been a great at-bat all series long, let's see if we can steal a game. It's the World Series! We need every possible advantage.

There were a couple posts on reddit Dodgers, but there was even a kid behind home plate, caught on TV doing it as well.

I would love for Yu to throw a high fastball to rattle some fences. Playing angry typically doesn't go over well, especially at bat.

I feel you. I love a great pitching duel watching a guy do that BUT I disagree with you that both aren't amazing. We beat got 2 hits off Verlander in game 2 both homers. he pitched amazing. So did most of the pitchers with the exception of game 5 IMO. Seeing a batter jump all over the mistake of a pitcher is just as great. Watching Joc last night go oppo was amazing. Seager going with the pitch for a RBI double. I love a battle be it offensive or defensive. Guys in this series, again in my opinion, aren't being sloppy pitchers they are just having great at bats and punishing mistakes. That is what the 2 best teams in baseball will do to you.

And yes, that is what I am saying every game has gone down to pitching or hitting or fielding. That play turner (might of been Seager can't recall at present) and Bellinger made on Altuve to end the inning where Hill got himself into a world of trouble is just what I am talking about both teams have done it over and over and over again. Evenly matched team, evenly matched pitching, evenly matched hitting equals obvious game 7. May not be the greatest to everyone but damn it is to me.

And I got what you are saying about Roberts moves. It didn't bother me with the exception of being set to bring Jansen in for 6 outs again. I thought the Hill move was right. I thought the double switch that brought utley in was right and I was good with a rested Morrow. I was really surprised he caved in on Game 5 and brought him in. All in all there have been a few calls by Roberts that I didn't like but most I was good with but in the end like you said he is the manager and its easy to make those calls from chair like we fans do.

Amazing series. I think this game is going to be Turners coming out party.

I'm with you, but the difference is a great battle where the pitchers get beat usually means 1-6 or 3-7 or something like that. We're getting 13-12 scores. That tells me something is wrong. I don't think the rumors about the baseballs being juiced and the WS balls being slick are wrong. I think there's a lot of truth to them which is why you're seeing weird scores and historically great pitchers get trounced in 2-3 innings.
