http://www.lakersnation.com/lakers-...clippers-in-2017-18-season-opener/2017/08/10/ The rest probably get's announced within the next couple days.
Lonzo - Teodosic Clarkson - Beverly Ingram - Gallinari Randle - Griffin Lopez - Jordan That'll be a very interesting game. Won't be very defensive, could see Beverly trying to frustrate Zo all game, but I expect us to be moving the ball up and down the court running the Clippers out of the building.
Our youth is going to tire the clippers and on top of that our bench will be deep compared to theirs.
Surprised they didn't give us Philly on Christmas, since they're trying to make that some sort of rivalry. Maybe since Russ left the biggest battle, Russ vs McConnell, is over. But seriously, all the trash talk from Embiid and Simmons about Ball, you'd think they'd play it up.
They know one of those guys, if not more are going to be hurt by Christmas time so how much does that game really carry....
For selfish reasons I would've liked to see the Lakers open up in San Antonio or maybe in Christmas. Surprised the Spurs aren't playing on Christmas actually. Anyways looking forward to those matchups. Lonzo will get his first taste of defensive intensity going up against Beverley. Love the matchup with Minnesota. You ask me probably the two teams most poised to take over the West when the Warriors eventually decline.
Studies show that no one watches the Spurs except those conducting the studies wear some color like orange you bland mother******s
Our Schedule is out and currently viewable at http://stats.nba.com/schedule Couple quick impressions: - glad we finish the season basically all at home in the month of April - there is a group of games in the middle of dec that is just brutal. - overall and without doing any significant breakdown it looks easier, better than last year's schedule IMO. But I'll wait till the analysis people do on strength of schedule comes out before breathing a sign of relief somewhat.
Warriors lead the league in 40 nationally televised games and we're right there with 35 games. Ya the Lakers Brand is just fine.
