Yeah anyone who doesn't think Kobe is a clutch just doesn't know basketball. Who has been more clutch then Kobe the last two decades? Yeah maybe guys like Jordan, or maybe Bird hit more clutch shots all time or were a little more efficient, but as far as his generation it's not even close. Kobe is by far the best closer the league has seen in this era. Maybe he's not the best player overall (although he's certaintly got a legit argument), but certaintly the most cold blooded, ruthless assassin in the NBA during his incredible 20 year career.
So Kobe missed over 1,000 clutch shots? Hmm, I wonder why he was the one that was given all those shots. Maybe it was because he started making those clutch shots in his early freaking 20's. Like the one against Phoenix to win the game in 2000, and the ones against the Pacers in the finals that year after Shaq fouled out. Morons and their stupid stat obsession have been trying to make Kobe look bad ever since John Hollinger, nothing new. Anyone who actually WATCHED his career would say different though, there was hardly ever a player I'd want to take a last shot than Kobe, only maybe a wide open Robert Horry for a 3.
Terrible list in my opinion. So many dunks in there are not underated and are well known. I can think of more that the casual fan forgets that should have been included.
No idea. I'm subbed to Kobe Can on YT. Not gonna lie didn't even read the title. I just click and watch any Kobe highlight video I see.
That one on Howard is such a classic tea bagging. Has there ever been a better one considering who's giving this one and who's receiving? Kobe just rubs them all over Dwights face. Look at Shaq below he agrees.
Was that like the Fonz jumping the shark on waterskis? Giving us the always useful awww man he's "jumped the shark" now when someone takes something to ridiculous lengths. Kind of like many of LeBron's flops .....
I actually do agree with the title here. 2012-2013 was an incredible season for Kobe. Not his best overall maybe, but it's right up there. Averaging nearly 30 points a game, one of his most efficient seasons overall, carried the Lakers to the playoffs after a terrible start. If Kobe didn't get hurt that team definitely could've done damage in the postseason. They were on fire down the stretch mostly thanks to the Mamba.
Hey at the end of the day at least you can say you saw Kobe Bryant play basketball. We all got to witness greatness and a true legend. One of the three greatest players ever if you ask me. Certaintly the best player I've ever seen in my life and it's not even close honestly. Kobe is like the 2Pac of basketball. Yeah 2Pac is gone, but he's still having a monstrous impact today. Kobe maybe retired, but his legend lives on and his impact will last a lifetime.
I heard this story on a podcast 1-2 years ago. Glad to see its getting out there in the world. Great story
