    I don't ever remember seeing the main ESPN channel covering the summer league championship game, and leading off SportsCenter with it. That's a huge credit to Ball. We have sucked so much in summer league in past years, there was no winning culture being established, there was a lot of ugly play and early exits. To see this team of guys play their backsides off to win summer league, play team ball, it was a joy. Don't care if this doesn't count for a thing, it gives our young guys some positive energy instead of hanging their heads, and it plants the seeds of belief that they can win if they play together, the right way. Summer League, yes, but this is what Ball brought to high school, to college, and now to his first pro action, he's a winner.

    Been following him since his freshman year in Iowa State. He is a really good schema player. Hope he gets his chance in NBA. Oh yea Hoiberg is triggered somewhere...

    I like his shooting, but that's all he does. You can't make the NBA on one skill. He can't really dribble, he makes bad passes, he can't defend, he's not an NBA player. G-Leaguer, sure. Same with Blue, great scorer, but that's all.

    Matt Thomas may not get a 2 way contract from us but if another team doesn't give him one (I'd be shocked if one didn't) he definitely needs to get a camp invite.

    I don't think hes got the overall game to make it in the NBA but the last 4 games he was magical with his shooting touch.

    I remember when we lost every pre-season game under Mike Brown and many said, "it's just pre-season." Well, we lost our first 5 games of the regular season and he was fired. We haven't won a playoff game since then. Losing is never okay. This might just be Summer League, but a winning culture is a winning culture. Isn't that what every GM and coach wants to foster?

    A+ to Jeannie, Magic and Pelinka. So happy for Ball and Kuzma.

    I tweeted and posted the same. It was a legit entertaining game. Nba and espn are probably stoked af. You need summer league to become big when sports around this time of the year blows lol.
