I would not mind either (or even both of) Rondo and Waiters. But ideally I'd like CJ Miles. We need guard/wing depth!

Man, the West gets tougher and tougher.
Hayward might as well go to Miami and fight for that top 3 seed instead of staying in Utah and battle it out for 8th.

Man the Denver Nuggets got a great deal on Millsap too...it's essentially a 2-year, 60M deal as the 3rd year is a Team Option.

He fits their team perfectly and especially next to Jokic...

I wonder what this means for Gallo? Is he Boston bound if they strike out on Hayward? Or is he headed to LAC in a S&T?

Are the Nuggets a playoff team?

I wonder how much the Lakers had in mind to offer Nick for 1 year. They could beat the GSW offer.

Not sure. Locks are the Warriors, Spurs, Rockets, Thunder, Timberwolves, Jazz (if they re-sign Hayward).

Look at how stacked the west is....I got 11 teams that can all possibly make the playoffs:

GS: KD Curry Klay Dray Iggy
    Spurs: Kawhi/LMA
    Rockets: Cp3/Harden
    Thunder: Westbrook/PG13
    Jazz: Hayward(if he stays)/Gobert
    Wolves: Butler/Wiggins/Towns
    Grizzlies: Conley/Gasol
    Clippers: BG/DJ
    Blazers: Lillard/McCollum
    Nuggets: Jokic/Millsap
    Pelicans: Anthony Davis/Demarcus Cousins

The west will take 50 wins to make the playoffs this year, and we may have 3 more teams at .500 not making the playoffs. Heck, I bet the 9th and 10th seeds this year will get 48 and 44 wins, respectively, out in the West.

The West is going to be fun to watch next year that's for sure.

That's exactly who I have as locks...

Last 2 spots are up for grabs between the Grizzlies, Clippers, Blazers, Nuggets and Pelicans. It's hard for me to count out the Grizzlies but they are a Marc Gasol or Conley injury away from being out of the playoff race. Actually I guess for ANY of those 5 teams, they are an injury away from a key player to being out of the race...or an injury away from one of the top teams from moving into the race. Man, west is going to be so god damn good...I really hate that we're going to be playing in arguably the toughest conference I've ever seen since I started watching basketball.

Hmmm maybe I need to re-evaluate my early thinking to take last year's predicted win total again. Yowza with the West. East is going to be like G league in comparison.

Given the options (or lack thereof) of free agents, who would everyone prefer? Rondo or Derrick Rose?

For the love of God. Lakers just got rid of Dlo for being a complete moron. And some of you want to get Waiters and/or Rondo.

Jeez, how many of the good players have gone West this summer? Is the East even going to be able to field an All-Star team? It will be like all Cavs, Raptors, and Wizards. So many players are going to get left off the West All-Star team that are deserving simply because there's no room.

Actually i heard Waiters the past year cause made big strides on becoming an adult and heard good things from a reporter that i believe was on ESPN.

Didnt hear anything bad about Waiters in MIA. Can people grow up...? I mean how old is Waiters again?

Rondo isnt happening. If it happens Magic is gonna be a dad to rondo and would probably literally for him to work one on one with Lonzo. Heard Rondo wants to coach at some point after retiring.
