for realz, though: thought minny would go after lowry before teague. not sure thibs is going to like teague. we'll see, though. teague was one of few pacers showing backbone in the playoffs.

This might be the best free agency period in some time. There's a ton of movement already with pretty big named players.

Neither are the Lakers. You thinking your plan (Hayward) is better than everything discussed, debated, hammered out and agreed upon by Magic, Luke and Pelinka for the past 4 months has got to be sarcasm as well. You can't be that full of yourself.

yeah, and the odd configuration of teams that have cash (crappy ones) and players that want it (above average but not star vets) can lead to wild outcomes. some big name guy is so signing for peanuts after dust settles.

I want to see this team win too, I"m just tired of these "plans" and the non flexibility of these plans. What would be so bad if we did someone how managed to get a player like Hayward? Next yr remove deng/jc and you can still sign Pg, I'm not worried bout James, I dont believe he going to tarnish his rep even more jumping ship over here. At least with Hayward/PG we got guys still in their 20's

    Ok, I'll try once.

Nothing would be "so bad" about signing Gordon Hayward. I'd rather have him than LlllleBron. Here's the reality. Hayward has no interest in coming here. He is only interested in 3 destinations. Going on about getting Hayward is just exercising your jaw muscles. Zero chance it happens. Zilch. Nada. Zippo.

LlllleBron is coming whether you like the "plan" or not. The most recent source is someone very close to him. Best hints from reputable NBA people is Maverick Carter. He leaked that LlllleBron is set on coming to Los Angeles and that he won't even consider the Clippers. So, you might as well start getting your body ready for it.

In the meantime, that means we will only pick up 1-2 one year FA rentals this year. No multi-year max deals.

LakersBall.com is the true definition of tolerance. You can tell the moderators to go (bleep) themselves and they respond with hilarious gifs. LakersBall.com is America. What America was built to be.

Well throw the idea out there and leave it. Don't defend it to the death like you always seem to do just because it was a "thought" that crossed your mind. You literally sound like you think you know more than them. Belongs more in unsubstantiated trades and ideas thread, rather than you conducting some referendum on the front office over it because their PLAN is not the same as your random thought and acting like not a thing changed in the FO just 4 months ago.

I'm not against signing Hayward, I'd love to sign Hayward. I said as much months ago. But there's been no reports of him having any interest in us, and we'd have to go out and trade away another good young player like Randle in order to simply dump he who shall not be named. Then we'd have to hope really Hayward signs here because if he doesn't we've dumped Randle just to dump a bad contract when maybe he could net us more at the deadline, and we are even WORSE next season. It's not a smart gamble for me. I'm more comfortable waiting on players that we actually are linked to in the press even if that doesn't work out either.

GM's can divert from their "PLANS" As others have noted and I"ll agree, this PLAN isn't any different than Mitch/Jim from 3yrs ago, only difference are the pitch men. The team is still bad and probably will be bad for this upcoming season too, this plan is mostly based on "rumors" however credible it is, its still rumors, the hold hard solid FA thats legit is George.

That's what I mean. Random thought defended to the death because it's yours. Weezy just explained it here as did Time above. You ignore all the rational explanations and play the same skip over and over like a broken vinyl record.
